That day when God came, shining in His glory,
He came to tell me, of a very special story.
He said that He loved me, and that in itself,
was old knowledge, as old as the books on my shelf.
But the way that He said it, was different and clear,
I needed to know, and that was why He was here.
"Dear child I love you, you're so special to me,
and that is why, I died on that tree.
I the King, came down as a peasant,
I died for you, I give you this present.
It pays for your debt, It pays for your sin,
It'll change you without, but it starts from within."
He told me this, and I can't describe,
what I started to feel, inside.
I followed Him, along that tree,
I helped Him set, one more free.
