You have searched me, LORD.
You do know me.
You know when I sit.
You know when I cry.
You know when I smile.
You know when I hide.
You know when I doubt you.
You know when I lie
To say I'm okay
Then I just want to die.
You know that I struggle
To believe what you say.
You know how hard it is
To think I am well made.
I feel broken and messed up
Living life in the gray
Because I'm too defective
To speak up and pray.
I'm a burden, a defect,
And I listen to lies
That ruin how I see
Myself through my eyes.
I am searched, I am known,
You say from on high.
I'm a failure and alone,
I hear and I cry.You have searched me, LORD.
You do know me.
You created the core
Of who I am.
Knitting me,
Stitch by stitch,
With your loving hands.
Everything you do,
Everything you make
Is beautiful.
Wonderful.
Fearfully made.
Deep in my heart
I know this is true.
LORD silence my doubts
That I may praise you.
