Chapter 14

[After the trip]

I walked in through the doors of high school after two months. The loud voices of teenagers chatting with one another rung in my ears. I missed these sounds.

Cinnamon stops over to me in anger. "I hate you!" She screamed.

Yesh. She needs a tic tac.

I roll my eyes at her and head to my locker. Neji was no where in sight. It was strange. I headed off to my first class. When I entered everyone gave me looks.

I sat in my seat, still no Neji in sight. Hinata walks in and sits two rows away from me. She didn't say anything and neither did I. Our home room teacher walked in when the bell rung and started discussing shit for the new term. Then she suddenly said, "as you all can see. A fellow beloved student of ours won't be with us for the rest of our school years."

We looked around. There were two seats empty. One that belonged to Neji, and one that belonged to that bitch. I hoped that the student wasn't Neji.

Neji enters the class. A stone expression on his face. "You're late Mr. Hyūga. Let's hope this doesn't happen again."

He said nothing and sat beside me. "Good morning hon." I told him quietly as the teacher switched to new topics. "Morning." I smiled at him. "Seri left the school!" I quietly cheered. "Yeah I know." His answers were dull and plain. "You okay?" I asked Neji.

"I'm just fine baby." Something was up. After class, I cornered him against his locker. "Yo what's up?" "Nothing." I frowned a bit. "You're acting weird." "How?" I leaned in closer. That smell. I recognised it anywhere. I did some!

"Are you smoking weed?" I whispered in shock. "Yeah so? Got a problem?" I sighed. "You need to be careful! When you're smoking these type of stuff before you come to school, wait a while. A long while. Before you come to school. Air out your clothes or something. Use cologne."

Neji rolled his eyes. "Whatever. I get it." My eye twitched. "I don't like the tone of voice you're using on me."

"Sorry mom. I'll be more polite!" "Neji! That's the lowest you could go!" We stared at each other. He was a whole new person. He was different. What happened over 2 months?

"Just stay out of my way." Neji pushed me away and walked off to join his buddies. The blonde one slightly stayed back. What for I had no clue. He didn't look like hanging with them. Maybe he's an outsider. The outcast of the group.

Sakura pushed me into a locker glaring hard. "I don't know if you got the message or not, but stay the hell away from Neji! Because of you Seri left! You're deceitful! I hope you rot in hell! Before you came, Neji was happy! You made him this way!"

I got out of Sakura's way and stomped off. "Whatever. I didn't do shit. Fuck you bitch."

[Two weeks later..]

The loud beep of Neji's familiar car horn forced me to eat my cereal faster. "Have a good day at school!" Dad told me. I hugged him tightly. "I love you." Dad hugged me back just as tight. "I love you too."

I left my house and entered Neji's car. He stared at me. "Morning." I told him kindly. I leaned in kissing his cheek. "Morning." Neji dully replied.

Little did I know, this is where our relationship was heading. Down hill.

We were stuck in traffic for a while. That was when Neji pulled out his phone and showed me a video. "SUIGETSU!" "Come and get it!" It was of the cruise! Suigetsu ran around with my bra and underwear. Me only in my towels ran after him all around the ship. A fan tapped this on Suigetsu's phone. Suigetsu posted it.

The video went viral.

"SUIGETSU GIMME MY UNDIES!" Oh no. We rolled and I sat on top of him strangling his waist. I grabbed my stuff back and stood walking off when he grabbed my ass in a playful manner. I slapped his arm and laughed for a while then walked off. "You're a pervert!" "Yah love me though!"

I turn around sticking my tongue out at him. "Yeah I do. Whatever!" The video ended and Neji stared at me. Anger blazing through his eyes. "This is what you did?! Mess around with an Akatsuki?!" I frowned.

"Neji I wasn't messing around. Suigetsu and I are just friends." I told him calmly. Neji buffed his chest. He was jealous! "I don't believe you. Sasuke was right. You're such a whore."

"Stop the car!" I got out the vehicle slamming the door shut. "I'll walk from here thank you very much! You need to cool down. I am not cheating on you! I'm very loyal! This is not the Neji I know! Get your mind straight, then come talk to me!"

I walked off ignoring the calls of my so called boyfriend.

I made it to school late. My first class was P.E. There I saw Neji and Ten-ten talking. Really close. His hand even brushed against hers and for a while they held each other's pinky. My heart stung and tears fell to my cheeks.

I don't want to believe that Neji of all guys would cheat on me. I walked to the changing room and wore the white and orange shirt and pants. I walked out seeing Coach Gai. "Hey y/n! Late but glad yah could join us! We're playing dodge ball!"

"Yay." "Now, Ino on one team, Sakura on the other. Ino you pick five teammates first. Sakura will pick five last. The remaining kids are to dodge the balls from both teams!"

Sakura rolled her eyes. Ino's blue eyes held a twinkle in them. "Sasuke, Shikamaru, Naruto, Ten-ten and Kiba!" Sakura gasped. "Ino!" Coach Gai raised a hand. "Now now Sakura. It's your turn." She frowned. "But I have a lot of losers to choose from!" "Pick five!" Coach Gai yelled.

He held his head looking away. "God I hate my job!!"

Sakura smirked. "Kankuro, Neji, Hinata, Matsuri and Lee." They walked towards Sakura.

"Alright! The remaining kids are.." Coach Gai frowned and scratched behind his head. "Damn. Play ball!" It was only me, Jeanette and Mike. The balls came flying to us from all corners.

I dodged a lot and even threw some, knocking out Kiba, Sakura, Shikamaru and Kankuro. I turned around just to get ball to my nose, knocking me out.

I awoke in the nurses office. Lee beside me. Nurse Kathy sighed. "You got quite a hit. Your nose is fractured and you got a concussion at the back of your head. You're lucky this young man brought you in. Keep this ice pack on your nose, head on to your next period."

I exited the office holding the ice pack against my nose. "Here." Lee gave me a paper bag. I opened it seeing a tuna sandwich and a can of soda. "Thanks Lee." He gave a smile and walked off.

I got into History classes after eating lunch and changing my clothes. There I sat next to Neji without a word. We didn't even glance at each other. At the end of the day we didn't even run into one another.

I got a message from Jessica while I was walking home and I stopped for a while texting her back. Kiba snatched my phone. "You got a girlfriend? God Neji is bad at choosing the right girls." I kicked him to the nuts grabbing my phone.

"Leave me alone!" Sasuke held me down as Kiba and Ino began beating the crap out of me. "Get off of me!!" I screamed in pain. I coughed blood when Ino kicked me to my chest and more blood ran from my nose when Kiba punched me to the face.

"HELP M-!!" I was cut off by a kick to the jaw. Once more I coughed blood and spat some of it on Sasuke's white sneakers. "AYE!!" The voice of Kim and Jessica reached my ears.

I heard groaning. When I opened one of my swollen eyes I saw only Jessica and Kim. "Come on." Jessy helped me up and Kim got us into his van. They drove me home and stayed with me, treating me. "Suigetsu is coming over."

When Suigetsu came, he brought with him pizza. "I got an idea." He said, "dump the guy. Yah know what. Don't go to school for at least 3 days. You need to heal. Also you must dump Neji. He's an ass all of a sudden because of that dumb video?" Jessica rolled her red eyes.

"Why I outta kill em!" Kim sighed, "Jessica the only person to kill would be me." "Please don't hurt Neji!" I defended. "I'm sure he meant no harm!"

Jessica placed a hand on my shoulder. "If you say so y/n."
