Chapter 25

It took me two weeks to finally get out the hospital. When I arrived back to school in my wheelchair Naruto was pushing me. I didn't want to be here.

Naruto and I got into Maths class and was greeted by Iruka-sensei. He handed me a gift. I opened it and saw a box of beautiful animal chocolates. "These are really expensive. How did you manage to afford this?" Iruka-sensei chuckled rubbing his arm behind his head.

"I saved up some money. I hope you get better even faster y/n." I tried handing the chocolate back to Iruka-sensei but he wouldn't take it! "Sensei this is too expensive." I told him.

Iruka-sensei held out his hand and bowed. "Please y/n, take it." I smiled. "You're very generous Iruka-sensei. Thank you." Naruto pushed me to the back of the class next to his seat.

Neji walked in. His arms around Ten-ten. He stared at me for a long time then looked away. Weirdo.

Naruto sita next to me and then Hinata joined us in the long bench. "Hey." Hinata and Naruto started talking. I began to feel left out. With a small sigh I placed the chocolate in my bookbag and payed attention to the lesson. Trying to ignore Naruto and Hinata.

When the bell rung I rolled out of class to get away from them. I got to my locker using one hand and opened it. When I opened my locker confetti flew out landing all over me. Even sprinkles.

I frowned when they wouldn't come off. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up. There was Itachi Uchiha. He leaned down cleaning me up, then he grabbed my Art book for me. "Thanks Itachi-sensei." I muttered.

Itachi gave me his famous close eyed smile. "No problem. Cus." I felt my heart pull. "H-how do you know?" I asked. Itachi walked away not answering. "Be dramatic. Thanks."

I roll my way to Art class where I saw Neji. Since when did he take Art classes? He was next to my space and I went over there. Our classes were really messed up today. Everyone switched classes over the two week vacation.

I went in my spot and started painting a bird. Neji leaned over. "I heard about your accident." I rolled my eyes ignoring him. "I hope you get better soon." I kept ignoring. Neji placed his hand on my shoulder and gave me a warm smile.

'The same smile he would give to me, when we used to date. No! Stop it y/n! He broke you. He hurt you! Used you!' I thought to myself.

I raised my hand smacking his off. "Whatever." God that felt good!

I smiled brightly at his facial expression. Devastation. Feel how I felt bitch.

When lunch came I met up with Naruto. We sat away from his group of popular friends. Ino walked over with a tray in her hand and dropped her jell-o on my hair. "F/c really doesn't suit you sweetheart."

Naruto glared at her as she walked off. He stood and helped clean the jell-o off me. "Thanks Naruto." I had homemade lunch and ate the sandwhich dad made for me. Naruto opened the box of chocolates for me. He fed me the bunny.

I gave him the lion. "Fox suits me." Naruto said with a smirk. "Yeah will so does a lion. Take it or leave it." He ate the lion and leaned in closer to me.

We stared at each other for a long while. His eyes constantly flickered to my lips. "Um." I broke the silence and looked away. "Y/n." Naruto said. I shook my head and started rolling off. "I got P.E now. I'll talk to you later."

Naruto sighed and kept eating glumly. I don't know why the hell I would stop him.
