Chapter 21

I didn't go to school for a week after that. Too sad to move. Dad tried getting me out the house but it just wasn't working. I would not budge. Jessica and I had less contact, while Naruto and I had more.

On Saturday he showed up at my door with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. He was dressed casual. "I heard." He told me. I started crying again. "Come on y/n. Into my arms." I hugged him crying into his shoulder. I didn't notice his bookbag.

Diane was on the couch hogging it up, and dad was at work. I took his hand and quietly led him upstairs. I let him in my room and closed the door turning the lock. "What brings you here?" I asked.

I sat beside him and Naruto took off his bookbag. Then I noticed it. He opened his bag and took out chocolate chip cookies, a tub of ice cream, a small box of my favourite pizza and four bottles of soda. "Comfort food for the queen."

I cried out all my sorrows and ate the food with Naruto. Then we watched cartoons on Netflix. It was starting to get really late and I knew Naruto had to go but I didn't want him to. "Y/n, I'll call you." He hugged me tightly and then he left.

I watched as he climbed out my window and walk down the wall like some boss. A smirk on his face.

We texted each other a lot. The conversations would be plain up weird sometimes. Other times he would be nice and sweet. Like some of the other times today he was being nice and sweet to me. I don't know why he does it.

Naruto; y/n I just want you to know that the pain you're going through. You're not alone. I'm here to help lift that weight off your shoulders.

Me; thank you Naruto. You're an incredible friend.

That was just one of those times. Thursday I went back to school. Naruto picked me up in his car and we went to school together. I dyed my hair f/c and even wore different clothes, just so nobody would notice me. That worked for a while.

Naruto had his arm around my waist in a protective sort of way. We made it to my locker and I grabbed my History book. Naruto and I had the same class. We went up the stairs through three halls to get to History class. There we saw Anko-sensei waiting to teach us.

She was so rough. When I first met her I wondered if she was really a she or a he. Naruto and I sat next to each other. We barely listened to the lesson, and next thing we know it Anko hits us in the face with, "next week you guys are getting a quiz!"

When Naruto and I left we started planning on going to the school library to start studying. It was a free period [Biology], so we grabbed a couple snacks and snuck into the library, passing the librarian. It's a weirdo named Kabuto.

I swear sometimes I see wanted photos of him. We went into the section that said 🍃Konoha🍃. Then we searched for history of Konoha. Then we finally found a book that said, "How Konoha was founded; by Kishimoto."

I gave the book to Naruto and we sat in a corner together. We were quiet as we read chapter after chapter. We made it halfway through the huge book when the bell rung for lunch. We took out or stash of snacks and ate it in peace filling the holes in our belly.

"We'll continue tomorrow afternoon. Come over at my house for a sleepover? It'll be also sort of like a study date." "Sounds cool Naru. I'll be there."

We exit the library heading to our lockers. His was right next to mine. We put our books away. I take out Art while Naruto takes out Music. "Oh, what are you doing?" "I'm in the band. I play the drums!" I smile brightly at Naruto.

"Cool!" "Yup. I also play basketball. I'm sort of a nerd slash jock." I nod my head tapping my fingers on my book. "Interesting." Naruto leaned against his locker looking into my eyes. "Um...y/n-" he was interrupted by Sakura.

She pulled him by the arm, far from me. I glared at her hard and he pulled his arm away. "Naruto stay away from this human sex toy! You'll get aids!" "If I get aids I bet it's from you! Oh wait I can't get aids! I've never had sex!"

Sakura chuckled. "Neji fucked Seri, I guess you weren't appealing enough to satisfy that big hunger in his pants. But I know two women who are. One I bet you'll grow to hate." Naruto held my hand and we walked away from Sakura and Lee.

Up ahead I saw it. Neji and Ten-ten making out hard against the locker. He had a boner and he unbuttoned her shirt. "He moved on....rather quick." I muttered. "Y/n come on. Let's go."

We went to our separate classes and Naruto kissed my cheek. "What was it you wanted to tell me?" I asked. He was already gone and i entered my own class. My mind stuck on Naruto. What was he going to say?
