Musa and Lawal were taking fried chicken and egg when Ahamd entered,A spoon was given to him to join them,Musa 's parent were always negligent of thier children.
Who was the person that would fry eggs in Malam Mahmud house?He will rather boil eggs and eat with his wife,he believed that if children wee allowed to eat eggs,that one day they would be tempted to chased a hen away from her nest and steal her wggs.After a short while,Lawal dropped his spoon ,put on his shirt and hurried out.
Later on,Musa led Ahamd to the battery they constructed at the back of the thier kitchen.they sorted the poultry into groups,cockerels ,layers and old layers,both local and advanced breeds. They selected twelve fowls to be sold out of sixty two,two Turku's out of eight,and five mature ducks out of eighteen ,they were put inside two wire grazed cages the eggs were put in a small basket
Ahmad carried the cages in wheelbarrow while Musa carried the egg basket on his head they passed many people carrying goods to be sold in the market they were hurrying to get a better position among boys and girls,some carried the same stock as theirs,it was quite unfortunate that when they reached the market square everywhere was occupied ,they carved out a small space and mounted the wheelbarrow, Musa dropped the basket of eggs on top of the second cage,and they waited expectantly they used to sell thier stock at home,at a stage Musa felt they could sell them at a higher price if they took them to an open market.
