Y/N's cry redirected Kirishima's attension to her.

As she stood in her spot, weilding her sword, he started to run towards her.

"This new guy doesn't matter... I neerly got both Todoroki and Y/N down. They'll re-match me anyway so this defeat may do them some good strategy wise." He thought, ready to hit the girl to the ground.

He drew back his hardened arm, ready to swing. Y/N tried to counter but she acted just a little too slow, giving her opponent the perfect oppertunity.

'Crap...' She gasped, her eyes widening and her mouth hanging open slightly.

Suddenly, just as Kirishima threw his fist forward, Katsuki pushed Y/N to the side.

'I have no idea what the hell's going on here but I won't let you get hurt again!' He shouted mentally as he forced his way infront of the gaurdian.

BOOF!

Kirishima's fist smashed into Bakugo's cheek.

Both of there eyes widened. Eijiro stumbled forward, shocked by this sudden development. Katsuki, despite expecting to be hit, was also taken back by the sudden pain.

Bakugo's anger issues started to kick in. His face slowly twisted into a look of unmeasurable rage. He spun around to look at the still stumbling opponent, his eyes practically glowing with the want for revenge.

Kicking him in the back, he let out his anger with an ear splitting roar.

Meanwhile, Todoroki had gotten back up and was rapidly trying to think of how to reach the orb in the center of the lake.

He looked up, at the roof, and let out a short gasp. The crystals... they weren't above the lake so just maybe...

He cautiously set his right foot down on the water. Even though it was weak, his quirk was there.

A small area of the water froze over. It was just a few centimeters on the surface but it was enough.

'It's all a matter of balace.' Shoto thought, taking his left side into consideration.

Grabbing his left foot, his balanced himself on his right while it was still resting on the ice. He was now completely out from under the quirk cancellers and could use his ice power more.

Freezing over the rest of the water surface, he started booking his was towards the light. Unfortunately for him, with the lack of his quirk for the last few minuets, he'd lost full control over it.

Everytime his left foot stepped back down, he felt the ice melting slightly underneath it.

'Just two more steps...' He thought, gritting his teeth and streaching his right hand towards the light.

His heart's pounding in his ears and the evaporated ice fogging up around him, Todoroki's fingers gripped around the orb - the objective.

Sighing with relief, a cold, foggy breath drifted through the air around him.

The orb safely within his grasp, he allowed himself a second of relaxation. Standing calmly on the ice, Shoto smiled a little to himself.

What he forgot about, however, was how thin the ice was.

The ice underneath him cracked, dropping him into the water.

"GAH!" He yelped as he was dragged under.

"HOLY HELL, EYEPATCH!" Y/N Screamed, sprinting over to the ice.

"WAIT, Y/N IT'S NOT SAFE!" Katsuki shouted, grabbing onto her arm,

"SHUT UP KACCHAN, I'VE ALREADY LET HIM DOWN ONCE TODAY!" Y/N shrieked, trying to escape his grasp.

But then... there came a fizzing sound from under the ice.

Y/N, Bakugo and the now recovered Kirishima looked out on the frosted lake in confusion.

Before there eyes, the slated surface began to melt, the water bubbling slightly.

"What the... it's... boiling?!" Eijiro spluttered in shock.

Suddenly, Shoto's head became visible above the water. He gasped for breath and coughed up a little water. His cheeks and nose were flushed and his soaking hair had stuck down over his eyepatch, hiding it.

"Todoroki, hold on. I'll lift you out!" Kirishima called out, streaching out his wings and prepairing to take off.

Unable to do anything to protest, Shoto allowed himself to be rescued and carried back to land. Once he'd been layed down against the cave wall, he rubbed the water off his face and brushed his hair away.

Everyone gasped. His vision seemed skewed and the left side of his face stung.

He felt that part of his face. He didn't feel the rough texture of the leather eye patch but instead the slightly strange sensation of.... skin.

"M-m-m-my eye..."
