3rd Person POV:
Bakugo trudged back into the camping area to find Y/N still sat by the now dying fire. Her legs were crossed over, her arms limp and resting in her lap. On the grass around her grew hundreds of tiny grey flowers. Small thorned vines wove their way between the petals and up her legs, trapping her in place.
She didn't seem phased by it. Her eyes were fixed on the small dancing flame in the fire.
"Y/N are you ok?" Bakugo rushed over to her side, crushing a few of the flowers and knelt down by her side.
She looked up at him with a distant gaze. Her eyes had become dull and lifeless but that wasn't what made Bakugo almost shriek in alarm.
A flower had grown out of one of her tear ducts. The petals covered up half of her eye, restricting her vision. They were washed out shades of her favourite colour. The flower's roots grew down the side of her cheek, half fused to her skin. And still, it didn't seem to phase her.
"O-oh my f*cking god." Bakugo gagged a little at the sight, sickened to the core, "W-what the hell happened?"
"My quirk... kept activating on my tears." She muttered, "It doesn't hurt though so I'm fine..."
"Oh hell no! You're not fine at all!"
"Bakugo, it's fine... really..."
She turned her head away to stair back at the fire. The light was barely their anymore.
"Y/N..." Bakugo furrowed his eyebrows and looked on at her slightly helplessly.
He sighed and lowered his head.
"I spoke to Icy-hot. This is all his stupid fault, you did nothing wrong."
"I chose to tell him..." Y/N muttered in response.
"Yeah but, um... it... um... DAMN IT! I can't do this stupid sympathy thing!"
Y/N sighed, her messy hair hiding her face. Everything fell silent, the fire finally sparking out.
Espur, who was now overly sick of all this drama, lowered his head and sighed deeply. He knew he'd already been penned in for the night but like hell he'd put up with this emotional nonesence any more. Raising his front legs, he kicked the roots down at full force sending a loud crunching noise echoing through the trees.
Y/N and Bakugo turned their attensions to the horse in fear and alarm. Espur let out a loud cry before taking off running into the woods. His feet thundered against the ground, snapping twigs and crushing leaves.
He kept moving, without faulter or without his sprint stopping until...
"S-silver?!" Todoroki exclaimed, suddenly finding himself face to face with the more then angry animal.
In reply, Espur narrowed his eyes and exhaled sharply.
"Why're you here? Y/N penned you in..." Shoto shook his head and turned his attension back to stairing at his shoes. He was still deep in thought, still debating what he'd do...
Espur, sick of being ignored, hit his nose against Todoroki's sholder.
"What? What is it?" Todoroki furrowed his eyebrows shamefully and rubbed his shoulder.
It was pretty clear that Espur wasn't getting his way. With nothing else to do, the horse reached out and grabbed Todoroki's collar with his teeth. He then proceeded to full on drag the boy all the way back to the camp site.
Dropping Shoto on the floor near the edge of the clearing, Espur let out annother cry. Holding his head up high, he flicked his tail and trotted back to his den in an almost snooty fashion.
Bakugo, who bore witness to it all, could do nothing but stair and blink in surprise. Y/N however, payed no attension. She still kept her eyes focused on the floor directly infront of her, her heart filled with unwavering dispair.
Todoroki stood up, looking out apon the scene the campsite had become. He exhaled shakily as he pieced together what must've happened. And then... his heart sunk. It was all his fault and he knew it.
Looking down at each tiny flower and the thousands of tiny thorns, he could physically see her pain and her sorrow. Even though the thorns were at his feet, he felt them piercing his heart, making him feel sick with regret.
Bakugo stood up and glaired at Todoroki momentarily before turning away and walking over to Espur's side, effectively leaving the other two alone.
Todoroki took a deep breath before starting to brave the thorns. They made his footing unstable, leading him to almost tripping up. Luckily though, he made it to Y/N's side before that could happen.
"Y/N..." He muttered, reaching out and placing his hand on her cheek.
Guiding her face, so that their eyes met, he looked at the F/C flower covering her eye. He sighed, drowning in his guilt.
"When I told you that I loved you... it wasn't a lie. I do love you... I'm sorry I was so stupid to make you belive otherwise."
Y/N's eyes widened a little, her tear filled eyes glittering like diamonds.
"But I..." She replied, her shoulders starting to shake.
Todoroki cut her off. He pressed their lips together, enveloping her in a long overdue kiss.
