i stand in shock, blushing as a new song starts

shawn laughs, smirking at my reaction while he pulls me closer to him
i just look up at him, my arms still wrapped around his neck as i'm at a loss of words
as i open my mouth to speak, he quickly shushes me by placing his lips on mine
oh okay, so this is what we're doing now
i stand there in shock, once again
but i come back to reality as he kisses me with much more force, causing me to stumble back
i soften in his grip, kissing him back
i run my hands through his hair, playing with the big curls
" THATS MY FUCKING BEST FRIEND OVER THERE " i hear arabella scream in her drunken state, causing me to laugh and pull away
" o-oh my god i'm so sorry, arabella doesn't know how to act " i say and he laughs with me
" it's okay, neither does august " he tells me and i look at him confused
he points a finger up, telling me to wait
i watch as he pulls a small foil square out of his pocket
" o-oh " i say
" he gave me this when arabella dragged you to dance, and pushed me over here " shawn tells me and i can't help but laugh
" they're both so stupid, no wonder why they make a beautiful couple " i laugh, shawn joining me
" i agree " shawn laughs
i watch as he throws the foil square somewhere behind him and kick it with his feet
" as much as i already know about you, i'd like to know more before we, you know " shawn tells me and he blushes, i agree by nodding with flushed cheeks myself
" but for now... " he tells me, pulling me back into his body
i giggle, placing my hands under his jaw and connecting our lips
after about a minute or so, we pull away again, gasping for air
" let's get back to the booth " i tell him and he nods, following close behind me
" alright guys, we're gonna head out. eva, please make sure bell gets home safely " ethan tells me while him and juliana stand up
" i will, and i'll text you once we get back to my apartment " i tell him as he pulls me into a hug
" good bye juliana, it was a pleasure meeting you " i smile, hugging her
" as it was you, evangeline " she smiles at me, before pulling away and smiling at me as her and ethan leave
" i think it's about time i go, too " i tell shawn
he frowns
" will i see you again? " he asks me
" most likely " i smile and he returns one
" here, give me your phone and i'll put my number in " shawn tells me and i nod, handing him my phone
once he's done, he gives it back
" please text me when you and arabella get back to yours, it's late and i want to make sure you're okay " he tells me and i giggle
" i will, shawn " i say, before kissing his cheek
" bella, time to get back to the apartment " i tell her and she groans
" my head hurts " i laugh
" i bet it does, lets hop on the seven and we can get ice cream. sound good? " i ask her and she nods, standing up
i guide arabella out of the club, and we get on the subway which takes us a few blocks from my apartment
we stop and get ice cream at this place a block before my building called franks
" so, tell me all about shawn " she tells me as we walk up the stairs to my apartment
i laugh, rolling my eyes
