" i love this, this is amazing " evangeline says and i smile as we get out of my car
i drove us from the west village to brooklyn, just for the day
i wanted to steal her from her well known city and drag her around my city with me
" are you happy i made you be patient now? " i ask and she rolls her eyes, laughing
" yes, i am " she says as she walks next to me, slipping her hand into mine
" is this okay? " she asks and i smile down at her
" more than okay, pretty " i tell her and she blushes, biting her lip before starting to swing our arms

we had just wrapped up lunch, which i payed for
" would you like to come back to my apartment? " i ask her
" sure, why not? " she replies
i smile as we make our way back to the car, and drive to my apartment
~
" i still want to know more about you " i tell evangeline, who is sitting on the couch as i return with waters for us
" i agree. twenty-one questions? " she asks and i nod
" i'll go first " she tells me

" blue. what is your favorite flower? "
" daisy's. tea or coffee? "
" coffee. when's your birthday? "
" april nineteenth. yours? "
" august eighth. your birthdays coming soon " i smirk
" yeah i know, i'm probably just gonna go to the club or drink a bottle of wine all alone " she tells me and i laugh
" you don't want a party? " i ask and she shakes her head
" i've never been a fan of parties for my birthday " she shrugs
" okay, we'll talk more about that another time. but continuing on with our game, should i be scared of your brother? " i ask and she laughs
" he's seventeen, shawn " she tells me and i furrow my eyebrows
" so. he could be fucking jacked and rock my shit " i tell her and she laughs
" remind me to show you a picture later. you'll be fine. why did you choose brooklyn for college? " she asks
" i knew i wanted to study in new york for sure, and brooklyn isn't as hectic as say manhattan, i wanted somewhere to relax as well " i tell her and she nods, before smirking
" would you go on another date with me
friday? " she asks and i laugh
" i've taught you well, evangeline. but yes, i'd love to " i tell her and she smiles

" hey, sorry if this is too much to ask but do you think you can turn the air conditions down? i'm getting kinda cold " she awkwardly chuckles and i frown
" the air conditioning isn't on, honey " i tell her
" i'll go get you a sweatshirt, and i'm sure i've got some of arabella's spandex here " i tell her as i go to my room
i grab her a sweatshirt, then go to august's room (for when he actually decides to stay here)
and find a pair of arabella's spandex
i go back out to the living room, and hand evangeline the clothes
" here, you can change in my room which is right there or the bathroom which is the first door to your right " i tell her and she nods, making her way to the bathroom
once she comes out, i wolf whistle, causing her to roll her eyes as she sits beside me on the couch
" would you like to watch a movie? " i ask her and she smiles, nodding

evangeline was now cuddled into my chest, while i was laying on my back with my arms around her waist
she was still cold, so she asked if it was okay for me to hold her, so she can warm up
and how would i object that?
" hey, can you do me a favor? " i ask her and she looks up at me
" keep this sweatshirt " i tell her
" shawn i can't " she tells me
" yes you can. besides, you look way cuter in it than i ever would "
