i haven't seen evangeline since sunday, and it was now friday, the day of our official second date
we agreed on going to a japanese restaurant, which i've been waiting at in a booth alone for 15 minutes now

i don't get frustrated, because evangeline did tell me she would be running a little bit late which was fine, she's had a long day so i'll give her all the time she needs
even though i haven't seen her, we've continued to text daily, both of us slowly knowing more about the other
at around 7:50, the door swings open revealing evangeline
her hair was in a high ponytail, with some baby hairs framing her gorgeous face
she was wearing all gray scrubs, with a white longe sleeve v-neck underneath
she smiles as she sees me, and makes her way over
" i'm so sorry i kept you waiting. i missed the subway so i had to wait a little bit for another, then getting a cab here was a pain in the ass " she chuckles as she sits across from me
" it's okay, you had a long day, honey " i tell her, grabbing her hand and caressing it in mine
her flushed cheeks don't go unnoticed, but i don't say anything
" have you ordered yet? " she asks and i shake my head
" i was waiting for you " i tell her and she shakes her head, smiling
it wasn't long before a waiter came and asked what we wanted to drink and for starters
we got so caught up in talking and eating, that we didn't realize it was now eleven pm, and the restaurant was getting ready to close
" oh shit " evangeline giggles
" you wanna go back to mine? have a few drinks " she asks and i smirk
" don't know. am i sleeping over? " i ask and she bites her lip
" yes " she tells me and i smile

" an- and she was giving cpr to the dummy's dick! " evangeline drunkly giggles, taking a sip of her third glass of wine
" how does that happen? " i ask, joining her laughter and she shrugs
" she must've put it the wrong way " she slightly slurs
there's silence, but evangeline keeps her eyes on me
" you're so hot " evangeline confesses
so we like drunk evangeline
" am i? " i smirk
i'm slightly tipsy myself, but i can definitely handle alcohol better than the thin girl in front of me
" mhm " she hums, taking another sip of the wine in her cup
" well i happen to believe you are the most beautiful woman i've laid my eyes on " i tell her and she blushes
" don't make me come over there and kiss you, shawn " she warns and i laugh loudly, and she smiles at my reaction
i lean over and kiss her cheek, right near her dimple that i've grown to like so much
" i like your dimples " i tell her
" i like your face " she shoots back, earning another laugh out of me
" you've definitely had enough to drink, sweetheart " i laugh, grabbing the wine bottle and placing it back where she keeps the rest of her alcohol
" my precious " she pouts as i take the bottle away
" why don't you get ready for bed, darling. i'll put on a movie " i tell her and she nods, standing up
" turn on barbie: princess and the pop star! " she yells, making her way to her room
" barbie? " i ask laughing
" it's my guilty pleasure, shawn. now shut up and turn on the damn movie "

" that feels amazing " i groan as evangeline plays with my curls
we were both seated on the couch as we watch barbie: princess and the pop star, as she requested
evangeline was sitting in my lap sideways, her head rested on my shoulder as her small hand tangles itself in my hair, the other resting on my shoulder beside her head
i had my right arm wrapped around her waist, as my other was resting over her knees
we had both changed into sleeping attire, her in a oversized shirt and spandex while i stripped to only my boxer-briefs
i think evangeline was too drunk to care, but she said it didn't matter because that's how her brother would sleep, too
i cant help but furrow my eyebrows as evangeline's hand beside her head trails to my chest, and lightly scratches its way down to my abs
i unintentionally groan, as evangeline repeats her actions
" stop " i warn
" why? " she asks, innocently
" because i said so " i tell her, intertwining her hand in mine so she can't do anything more
" okay " she giggles
for awhile, we watch the movie in peace, i kiss her head a few times
i think nothing of it when evangeline places a few pecks on my neck and shoulder
i sigh in content, at the nice gesture
but then she starts harshly sucking
" ah! " i gasp as she bites down, causing her to giggle
" evangeline stop " i tell her
" i don't want to stop, shawn " she whispers, looking up at me as her thumb runs across my bottom lip
" for fucks sake " i mutter before gently placing my lips on hers, but she was thinking something else as she grabs the back of my neck to deepen the kiss
the kiss gets very heated, thanks to evangeline (not that i'm complaining)
she now straddles my lap as my hands rest on her hips
her tiny hands find their way back to my hair, which she tugs on, enjoying the groans that come out of me from it
i bite on her lip, causing her to giggle
she pulls away, smiling
" y'know, sober evangeline has wanted to do that since the club. she'll thank me later " she smiles and me and i return one, shaking my head
" wouldn't she get mad at drunk evangeline for telling me this? " i ask and she shrugs
" probably. but drunk evangeline got her what she wanted " she tells me, giggling, which i laugh about
" should we go to sleep now? " i ask, seeing that the clock reads 2:56 am
" will you cuddle me? " she asks and i nod
" of course "
" then yes " she tells me
i lay down, and she lays beside me, back against my chest as my arm drapes over her waist
" goodnight, sweetheart "
