' The Golden Empire of Yi Ti! '

14 days at sea. It was getting rather tedious to be trapped in such a small space with 120+ other people and three dragons. They were still small, but they had grown quite a bit since they had set sail from Asshai. Aerion especially was growing, for he hadn't been hatched Alyna in the Church of the Great Other, he had been trapped in a small cage for who knows how long. Perhaps his growth was finally catching up to him, the freedom provided by the open sea and open air allowed the dragons to fly for a few seconds at a time; but Aerion was flying for up to a minute or two at a time. Alyna knew that when the time came, Aerion would be the dragon who would decimate her enemies, the dragon whom her allies would rally behind. She watched from her cabin as the black beast leapt from the ledge of her window, stretching our his wings and beginning to soar for while before turning back towards the ship and landing at the windowsill of Alyna's cabin from which he had taken off. "Well done, Aerion," said the Targaryen girl as she scratched his head, smiling softly as she fed him a sliver of cooked lamb. He devoured it in seconds. Alyna quietly clapped, staring down at the animal as he seemed to screech in happiness.
Vhaerys and Rhaenys were in their crates in the corner of Alyna's cabin, they were asleep. Alyna had knew that newborn dragons would usually sleep all day, only waking to eat and stretch their wings on occasion. It was rather disappointing to know that she wouldn't be seeing much of them, but having Aerion made her feel a little less alone on the great ship. Alyna placed Aerion on her shoulder, the small dragon used its tail to hang onto her without Alyna having to do much to keep him from falling. She was about to check on the Dothraki who had rarely came onto the ship's deck during their entire ride. However, before she could she heard the captain of their ship ring a small ball and call his crew to the deck. Alyna followed them, hoping to catch a glimpse of what was going on. When she did, Alyna saw the crew adjusting the sails and other equipment; land was nearby! The magnificent city of Yen could be seen from the deck, it was clear that the nickname 'City of Gold' was quite accurate. She smiled, running down to the ship quarters to tell the Dothraki that land was nearby, a notion that cheered them up quite a bit.
While she was there, she reentered her own cabin and grabbed Vhaerys and Rhaenys from their crates. They seemed happy to see their mother as they woke from their sleep, she held them both in her arms. Their crates were handed to one of the tallest men in the group, him carrying them on his back with some straps they had fashioned specifically to carry the crates. She ran up to the deck with her dragons, watching as the ship pulled into the Port of Yen. She could hear all the sailors, dock workers and passersby staring at her and her dragons. They all seemed to staring at the magnificent creatures which had been born again into the world and they didn't really care about the woman carrying them or those accompanying her. She said farewell to the Captain and his crew, they said their own goodbyes and pulled out of the port; Alyna and her Dothraki were officially alone in Yi-Ti. She began to make her way towards the city, the deeper they got the more stares they received. Finally, after a twenty minus walk they arrived at the city gates.
"Halt!" spoke one of the guards as he saw the large host approaching. Alyna repeated the order to the Dothraki, they did as their Khaleesi said. "What is your business here?" he asked, Alyna stepped forward; the man stared at her dragons for a few seconds before returning to his questioning. "I am Alyna Stonesong of House Targaryen, Rightful Heir to the Iron Throne, Rightful Queen of the Andals and the First Men and Khaleesi of the Shadow Lands," she said, listing her titles so that the man may take her seriously. "I am here to request an audience with your Emperor, I wish to discuss business and possible support of my claim to the Seven Kingdoms," she said confidently. The guard had perked up at her mention of being a Queen and a member of House Targaryen. He sighed, "I will have you taken to meet with our Emperor. But your Khalasar must remain outside of the city gates, we will find them a suitable shelter," he promised. Alyna repeated what the man said to the Dothraki, they agreed to go with him and a few hours later a palanquin was waiting for Alyna and her dragons.
Alyna got into the golden palanquin, it reminded her a lot of the one she would use to travel with Illyrio back in Pentos only this one was much more lavish, with jewels and pieces of solid gold all over. Inside was a thin man, he was dressed in fantastic clothes and his hair was magnificent, not a single strand was out of place. She smiled at him, "Hello, my Lord," she said as she bowed her head slightly. "I am not a Lord, my child," he said with a smirk. "I am merely a messenger for our magnificent Emperor. He is very excited to meet a true Targaryen, and three dragons!" he said while staring down at the marvellous beasts. "Do you have a specific reason to meet with Emperor Zao?" he asked as he stared at the girl. "Well, I would like to discuss a possible alliance between us. I would greatly appreciate his support to my claim on the Iron Throne," she said with a serious tone. "That's great. I hope the meeting is fruitful. If anything I can assure you that you won't leave Yen empty handed," said the messenger, who Alyna knew was named Tai. "I expect our Emperor to at least gift you some gold, perhaps some ships," this was music to Alyna's ears.
