"Carmen!" I heard Gran yell, "I know you're awake, I also know that bus boy is with you!"

I laugh, poking Cole before running down the stairs.

"Caleb, save me!" I screamed, running straight into him. Caleb grabs my shoulder, steadying both of us. Not a second later Cole grabs me by the waist, laughing when I let out a scream.

"Caught you." he gave me a dimpled smile, attacking my sides with pokes.

"Stop poking me," I huff, trying to poke him back.

"Carmen honey, your mum's in the kitchen," Gran's footsteps got louder as she neared us.

"What is going on out here?"

"She started it!" Cole revealed before I could say anything, putting his hands up in surrender.
