They broke soon.. Neil hugged her and said I love you.. Avni too hugged him back and replied I love you too...

They both were lying on the beach, holding hands..
Avni:  u know Neil.. Jab main choti thi toh dadi ke ghar jati thi.. Jab bhi powercut hote the toh we used to come on the terrace,  lay down over there.. Mujhe taaron ke neeche sona bohot acha lagta tha.. But phr dhere dhere power cuts hone hi band ho gaye and humne chhat par jana bhi chor diya.  But aj thanks to you ki mujhe bachan ka wo pal phir se jeene ko mila...
Neil:  Avni i promise you ki main puri koshish karunga tumhare har sapne ko pura karne ki.. No matter what will be the situation but you will always find me beside you.. I promise to be with you till death make us apart.

She was happy,  she was smiling, she knew his promises aren't fake one.. He will be there with her till her last breathe.

Avni:  Neil dekho raat ke 2 baj rahe hai Let us leave..  Kal subah ki flight bhi hai meri..
Neil:  Avni let's stay like this tonight.. Please..
Avni didn't want to make him upset.. Not at all today.. So she accepted.

Neil:  Avni I need to tell you something.
Avni:  bolo
Neil:  Avni u know I had a past..
Avni:  Neil I don't want to talk about it..
Neil:  but you should know about it.. I want to take our relationship further with everything known to you.  I want you to know about my past as well.
Avni never wanted to know it but she nodded because he wanted to tell..

Neil:  Avni yeh sab school mein start hua tha.. We were in class 8th. We were in the same class.. We become friends and then we soon started liking each other and then we confessed..
Flashback

Neil:  I love you Mitali.. I love you so much..
Mitali:  I love you too Neil..

Our families come to know about us when we were in class 12th..
Initially they didn't liked it but gradually they accepted us..
My mom liked her a lot.. They used to have a nice bond.. This is what I believed.. But she had other plans.. She wanted me to stay away from my family.. As she was not comfortable with a joint family..  But this I got to know after a long time.

Mitali was different.. She likes to be free.. She has her own friends.. Some of them were nice but some of her boyfriends we're not.. We actually had arguments over it at times but she was adamant not to change herself..
After our 12th,  we were going to choose colleges for us.

Neil:  yaar Mitali.. See I think iss college mein admission ho jayega..
Mitali:  Neil iska cut off bohot zyada hai.. Tumhara ho jayega but mera nahi.
Neil:  atleast tum try toh karo..
Mitali:  no Neil,  I have decided ki main iss college mein jaungi..
Neil:  but Mitali yeh toh..
Mitali:  and you know my whole gang is coming.. It would be so much of fun..
Neil:  but I want you to be with me..
Mitali:  tum apne dream college mein jao.. And hum kon se different seher mein hai.. Hum roz milenge..  Okay.
Neil nodded and hugged her..

It was their habit to talk daily.. Mitali used to tell all that has happened in her day but when Neil used to say anything she didn't pay heed..

They daily meetings decreased to weekend ones which gradually decreased more...
Now they often talk on calls.. They were confined to texts with late replies..
He understood that she might be busy.. But most of the time she was seen hanging out with her group.

Time passed and they were in their second year.. Maddy bua's husband died and she came to their house... Everyone was worried for her.. It was Neil who handled Anuj and Kareena..
