Chapter 12

Meeting you was in my destiny but loving you is the most beautiful thing I can ever do...

Days are passing with a high speed.. It was their habit to talk almost daily.. Sometimes they couldn't talk due to their work commitments but it doesn't made any difference. With the time, their bond got stronger, they started to understand each other in a better way.
Avni:
Kaam zyada tha aj?
Neil ( squeezing the back of his neck):
Hmm
Avni:
Dinner?
Neil:
I am tired.. I am not feeling hungry.. Mujhe sona hai bass.
Avni:
Neil go and change.. Abhi 10mins mein tumhare ghar khana deliver ho jayega just take it and have it and sleep.. Bhukhe pet nahi sona chahiye.
Neil:
U did it again?
Avni:
Yes because I know u won't do on your own. Now go and change and eat your food. Byee good night.
Neil:(smiling sheeplessly)
Good night.

Their life has taken a 360 degree change.. The relation which was made on such a rush is now taking a different level...

Neil:
Avni yaar batao na yeh ki yeh? ( he asked her showing two different shirts)
Avni:
Neil mujhe larko ke kapre samjh nahi aate.. I have never shopped for a male person.
Neil:
But soon to be Mrs. Khanna now get ready to buy clothes for me kyunki main toh tmhari pasand ke kapre hi lunga.
Avni blushed:
Buy the royal blue one..

Soon the time come when Neil is coming to Delhi. It has been 2 months since they met and now both can't wait to meet each other.

Neil:
Reached.. Be ready at 8. Will pick you up.
Avni:
See you soon.

At Khanna mansion
Shweta: looks bebe who has come..
Anuj: Maine toh pehle hi bola tha mami ab roz roz kisi ke trips lagenge delhi mein..
Neil: aao toh problem.. Na aao toh problem..
Bebe: ab koi kuch nahi bolega mere tillu ko.. Waise tillu.. Kitne baje ki date hai? ( winked)
Neil: bebe aap bhi?
Waise 8 baje ki hai..
Everyone: awwwww

In the evening Neil was waiting impatiently outside her house.
Neil in mind: aur kitna late.. Inn ladkiyon ko itna time kyun lagta hai taiyaari hone mein.. It's our first date... But madam hai ki... he turned and saw her coming.. He felt as if time has stopped.. Neither he wanted to look anywhere else nor he did. He just wanted to look her till he actually feel she is here with him...
Avni noticed his gaze.. She noticed he was wearing the same shirt that once she has selected for him.
Avni: hi.
Neil: hi.. Chale?
Avni: hmm
They sat inside and drove to a nice restaurant to spend some quality time. The took their seats and ordered the food.
Neil: u are looking pretty.
Avni: thank you.. Tum bhi ache lag rahe ho.. Waise nice shirt.
Neil: ohh han yeh... Achi hogi hi meri friend ne jo select kiya hai.
She smiled.
There was so much to say, so much to share. Avni was talking to him anything and everything.. She didn't even realize the way he was staring at her. He was looking her innocence, her carefree look. He felt good as he is the one with whom she can share her things. He feel contented.
Avni realised how endlessly she is talking... She felt happy to find a person with whom she can share her things.
Soon the food came.
They ate and left.
They were sitting in the car. The cold breeze was touching her face making her hairs to disshift, a nice song was playing which was humming by her and him sitting beside her is all she wanted... A perfect long drive.
Just then Neil stopped the car and parked it..
Neil: ice cream khane chale?
She nodded and they stepped out but she could not find any ice cream stall over there..
Avni: yahan toh koi ice cream wala nahi.
Neil: I knw.. Let's walk till the ice cream stall.
Avni thought walking is like icing on the cake for this date.
They started walking.
Neil: Avni. I missed you.
She knew this will come but so abruptly was not what she thought. She knows he deserves a cheesy one liner or a simple I missed you too but she is too shy to say.
He smiled he knows she won't say but he could easily sense it through her eyes. Rest of the walk was silent still their heartbeats we're so loud that they can hear it. They reached the shop and took their flavours. They ate few of it and started coming back to the car
Neil: Avni.. Mujhe pata nahi tha tumhe jadu bhi aata hai.
Avni: hein... Jaadu.. Mujhe?
Neil: yes tumhe.. Pata nahi yeh kaisa jadu hai.. Main jahan bhi jauin, jo bhi karuin i could find you.. U know each night I dream of you.. And each morning the first thing comes to my mind is you.. The whole day i crave to hear your sweet voice and in the evening I don't want to end our awaited calls..
Avni took a deep breath.. It was getting hard for her.. She doesn't know how to react.. All she knows is that the feeling is mutual.
I don't know if rushing over things is right or wrong but this would be certainly the right time to accept that I have fallen for you.
Avni could feel her cheeks getting red. she looked in his eyes and she could sense all that he said is true..
Neil: I love you soon to be Mrs. Avni Neil Khanna. And I thank my heart who told me that you are the one for me.
Avni was nervous.. She didn't know what to say.. She just wanted to live this moment.
Avni: Neil I don't know whatt..
Neil: shhh.. U don't need to say anything.. Let the right time come.. I want to hear your feelings for me when u urself wants to confess not just because I said.. And I know the day is not so far.
Ab chale?
Avni nodded..
They started walking.. Neil and Avni were walking side by side.. Neil fingers slightly brushed Avni's. She grasped.. Few seconds later Neil took her fingers and gripped them holding her's. She was shocked but she knows he deserve this so she reciprocated and hold his hand..
He thought she will never do this but her action made him feel blessed.. Yes she is the one "dil ne jisay apna kaha".
