Dark Alley: Questions and Respond Portion.
(Warning, may contain spoilers to those who haven't read the book.)
1. Where Was Dark Alley Inspired?
by Blake
It started when I was a kid, I used to play outside our yard and play with my friends. Until the 20th century came and also the internet and technology. When I was ten I suddenly started to think of the thought that if ever I want to be part of the government (or a statistician) I would like to experiment someone and place him on a closed room place for more than ten years until I decide for him if he can leave room as he sees the new world filled with more gadgets and less physical play.
2. Was It Hard For You To Pick the Charater's Names?
by Plus
It is a part of writing a book to name the characters of the book. I can say that it is difficult especially for an 'ambicious' person like me to really make sure that I give the character a personality as much as their name, which is to avoid from choosing over used names.
3. What Did You Think To Keep On Writing and Finishing This Book?
by Jason.
Literally I did not stop thinking at new possibilities. As a student I go to school and then experience painful things but instead I think of it positively as I tell myself, "I should let Foster experience this, like ten thousand times." I apply my life experience to the story which makes me not forget about Foster, I always think about the fictional figure I created as well as his story.
4. What Have You Done To All Of Them? You Killed Them All!
by Katniss
SPOILER ALERT! I forgive everyone for my Gothic mind. It was the eneding I have really wanted and loved to have, and that is to kill the whole characters without (hopefully) killing the story or the plot. About the ending, I think that even if Foster met his parents, he would no longer be happy with them, living with older people who treated him trashy and also I want to show to everyone that Foster belongs in the alley.
5. Why Did You Entitled The Book "Dark Alley" When The Alley Wasn't Even Dark and It Is To Spacious To Be Called An Alley?
by Johann
The place was simply called the Dark Alley through Foster's own definition of the place. It was never mentioned by anyone that it was called an alley but only Foster himself. He sees that bright, four cornered, white walls space as a dark, miserable and narrow place.
6. Are You Aware That Some Chapters of The Book Haven't Been Polished Yet?
by Hann
About the the editing and polishing I would like to tell everyone that I am still fixing it. I read one chapter everyday and edit some parts (even add some scenes) to make it more sensible and professionally made without changing the story, just adding the characters actions (but also not changing their perspectives) . I think this is also a way to make people reread the chapters because I just keep on improving them.
7. Are We Going To Expect For A Sequel?
by Rebecca
I haven't really thought of making sequels for my book, I haven't really thought of a good plot "if ever" I will make a sequel, but I strongly advertise the book first before making another one, so I guess not yet, please don't expect too much from me.
Author's Note: Dark Alley would be an entry for the #Wattys2014 I politely ask for your support guys! READ / COMMENT / VOTE and maybe I'll make a sequel if ever this works!
