Not A Fairytale

Chapter 12

"Hi! So you're Esthrene?" His girlfriend said.

"Yes, nice meeting you." I smiled fakely. It's not like I don't like her, actually she's kind but I don't know why I feel this way to her like I want to slap her HARD? Just kidding.

"Ya! The last time I saw you was the dinner with Tita right? And you don't like this before, you're like wow. You're so pretty." I smiled again. Don't flutter me so much.

"Thank you." I sit on my chair and started to scrbble again. I feel uncomfortable, parang may tumitingin saakin---no nakatitig actually. I raised my eyebrow to Chester yet he just stared at me. I rolled my eyes secretly. Geez, napaka-creepy niya.

Hindi ko naman maipag-kakaila na may gusto parin ako sakanya. Hindi naman kasi agad mawawala iyon. For three months wala akong ginawa sa loob ng bakasyon na iyon kundi mag-practice at mag-practice lang. I sighed, you made it so far Esth.

"Class for now I'll give you the rest of the time to have a break, since it is our first day." Pumalalpak naman sa saya ang mga classmate ko. Ako? Chill lang. I bring out my cellphone from my bag.

To Wendy:

Where are you? Free time namin. See yah?

Wala pang isang minuto ay nag-reply na agad siya.

From Wendy:

Coffee shop nearby the school. Free time din namin. And yeah, see yah talaga! Dahil marami akong ichi-chika sayo! May freshmen daw na sobrang ganda. Sino kaya yon ano? I want to meet her.

I smiled, hindi nila alam eh. Hindi nila alam na nagpa-make over ako. Ano kaya ang magiging reaction nila?

To Wendy:

Alright then. Papunta na ako.

Tumayo na ako at inayos ang buhok ko. Maglalakad na sana ako ng hawakan ako sa braso ni Yugene.

"Hey, saan ka pupunta? Wanna have some snacks with me? My treat." Ngiting ngiti pa siya. I shaked my head. Ah no way!

"Sorry I have my snacks na kasi with Wendy." I smiled, napa-stunned naman siya. Bakit ba sila natitigilan kapag ngumingiti ako?

"Ah alright." Aalis na ulit sana ako ng himawakan niya ulit ang braso ko. I unpatiently look at him. What now?

"May nakapag-sabi na ba sayo na sobrang ganda ng ngiti mo?" He smiled. My forehead creased.

"No one."

"Then I must say, your smile is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." Ramdam ko ang pag-init ng pisngi ko. Did he just compliment me infront of our classmate? Argh! So embarrasing.

"O-kay? Thank you." He chuckled. I shaked  my head and started to walk passed him. Geez.

"Omygod." Utal na sabi ni Wendy. I smiled at her.

"Hi!" Lalo siyang natigilan, anong nangyayari?

"Did she just talk to me?" Gulat na tanong nito kay Yeri. Yeri just nodded.

"Hey guys, what's with that face?" I chuckled. Naguguluhan silang nagtinginan.

"Ahm miss anong kailangan mo?" I stunned. Hindi nila ako nakikilala?

"Bakit hindi niyo ako nakikilala?" Naguguluhan at natatawa kong tanong. Mas lalo silang naguluhan dahil doon.

Wendy shaked her head and silently chuckling. "Miss? I don't know you really. Ngayon palang kita nakita." I pouted. Umupo ako sa upuan at nagpa-lumbaba.

"It hurts you know, when your beatfriends forget you that fast. Three months lang tayong hindi nagkita ginaganyan niyo na ako? Naku ha!" Nanlaki ang mga mata nila. Wendy grabbed my face. Geez!

"OMG! Esthrene?!" I nodded slowly.

"Oh-em! You're so pretty. What happenend? You seem more matured and also gorgeous. Tell me--I mean us what happened." Eager niyang tanong. Aww.

"Well I decided to move on and live my life with you guys. Marami pa namang lalaki diyan right? Chester's not the only one." I smiled. Really? Not the only one?

"That's great to know!" She happily clapped her hand. Yeri smiled at me with that.

Having a friend like them? Was really nice and blessed. They comfort you when you're breakdown. They will lecture you when they know that you are wrong. They will love you the way that you want too. They will still embrace even you're the most sinful they've ever seen.

"Well, I know. Is this mango shake?" I ask. She nodded. I sipped on it, hmm so yummy.

I looked around and unfortunately I saw Chester with his girlfriend opening the glass door. I rolled my eyes, hanggang dito ba naman?

"Hey, you're here too?" Lindsey happily said. I smiled sweetly at her.

"Ahm ya! By the way guys this is Lindsey, Lindsey this is Wendy and Yeri." Pigil ang iritang ngumiti si Wendy sakanya habang si Yeri ay masungit na ngumiti at tumango lamang.

"Oh hi! I'm Lindsey." Naglahad ito ng kamay kay Wendy. I nodded at Wendy, mukhang wala kasi siyang balak na kamayan si Lindsey.

"I know kakasabi palang ni Esth right?" Parang napapahiya naman na ngumiti si Lindsey. I elbowed Wendy because of that.

"Just kidding." She chuckled by that.

"That's enough, baby let's go." I sipped on my mango shake again. Bye for nown I'll make you so much headache soon.
