Chapter 5

Toby's POV

I sat on the floor as she walked away "What w-was that?!" I stared at the back if her head 'What was up with her eyes?! they changed and the force she used to push me down was like she was stronger than anyone in the house...' I thought to myself and got up following her, but I was sticking to the shadows. I followed her to the rose garden 'what is she doing here?!' I crept through the door before it closed, I hid in the shadow of a near by tree and watched her. She sat down by the flower that had our blood on it "Why is he acting like that...? He's treating me like I'm his... girlfriend or something!" I just stared at her in shock. I was about to say something but I saw tears fall out of her eyes 'Did I hurt her... feelings?' I thought I ran to a tree behind her without her knowing. Then I ran behind her giving her a hug "Aaah! TOBY!" She yelled "Get off!" she growled "I-I'm sorry!!" I yelled back at her she just tensed and stopped trying to get out if my grip "W-what do you want Toby?" I just stayed silent hugging her "Toby..." I got up and turned her around and put my head in the crook of her neck "I l-love you...!" is all that I could slip out of my mouth "I love you, I love you..." she wrapped her arms around me "I-I love you too..." she stuttered. I looked at her and kissed her softly, she kissed back wrapping her arms around my neck I pulled away and looked into her eyes "W-will you forgive m-me?" she smiled and nodded her head, I smiled back hugging her again.

Gemma's POV

My heart beat was beating faster than ever, hugging Toby. I don't know if he can tell that it's beating so fast. "Toby... my heart is hurting, why is that?" I just heard him laugh lightly "I don't know but... mine is too." I held him tighter "Mine has never done this before, has yours?" he looked at me and we sat down "Nope, this is a first." he said scratching his head confused "M-maybe because what w-we said to each o-other," he said and I smiled "Maybe we'll never know?" I shrugged and he laughed lightly "I-I guess so." he twitched. "Lets go in, I haven't eating anything for awhile.". He looked at me shocked "H-How long?" I just smiled "U-umm four or five days?" he just stood up and dragged me with him "What's wrong Toby?!" he didn't look back "Are you anorexic?!" I just stared at him "No, I was just starved by my parents, I ate when they all were gone, and was every three days..." he stopped and looked back at me shocked "T-three day?! why didn't y-you tell me this?!" I just looked down "I guess I forgot I could eat now..." he muttered something "L-lets go e-eat." I just continued to look down "Okay..." he held my hand now and I walked beside him

Toby's POV

We walked into the kitchen and I started making something for her "W-what do you want in p-particular?" She just looked at me and smiled "Whatever you enjoy! I didn't have a favorite food." she laughed and I just started cooking waffles she looked over at it "Waffles? during this time of the day?" I just laughed "W-what? I love w-waffles as much a-as I love y-you." She blushed and turned her head and murmured something "What did y-you say?" I looked back at her she jumped "N-nothing!" She started fidgeting "Do you know what happened to me earlier?" I looked back at her confused "W-what do you mean?" she just looked down "When I pushed you down and when you bumped into me... I didn't flinch and you seemed so easy to push down when your always so stiff... And your too tall for me to just push you down easily." I just looked at her in shock then went back to the waffles "I-I don't know... Y-your eyes also ch-changed color." I finished making the waffle enough for me and her she just stood there shocked "T-they did?!" I just smiled "Yeah, b-but lets eat first t-then talk to Slender a-about it later." she just smiled "Okay!" we sat down at the dining table I sat down next to Gemma and watched her as she ate like she hasn't eaten in a long while. "Your c-cute when you e-eat." she jumped and blushed "N-no I'm not!" she turned her head "Y-yeah you are." her eyes widened "Stop, I'm not cute, I'm stuffing my face." I chuckled at her remark "Yes y-you are!" she just pouted "Why aren't you eating?" she looked at my plate "Just waiting." I smiled "Well you don't have to wait for me." She looked up at me giving me a look like eat-or-I'll-kill-you-look. "Okay, okay I'll eat then." she smiled "Thanks." I started eating and she finished then I finished quickly "Want to go talk to Slender about me now?" She looked at me "Yeah l-lets go!" we stood up walking to his office she knocked "Slender can we come in?" she said through the door. "Yes, come in child." we walked in and we saw Slender sitting on a chair "Now what do you's want?" Gemma looked up at me and sighed "Uh today me and Toby got into a fight, and he ran into me and I didn't budge." she let that sink in "And I pushed him down like it was nothing, and Toby said my eyes changed color..." she finally said Slender sat there thinking "Has there been days like this when your parents were alive?" she shook her head "Hmm this surely is unexplainable." he stood up walking to a bookshelf "I'll call you's back when I find something." we nodded our heads and walked out "Huuuuh..." she sighed "W-what's wrong?" She stared at the floor "It just feels like... I don't know..." I stared at her "It's alright, everyone here is different, something is wrong with us all. Jeff's sanity snapped and he was burned almost to death but he survived, Ben he fell into a lake and drowned to death. Me I have turrets and I don't feel any kind of pain." She looked up at me shocked "W-wow... Well now there's me, I killed my parents and now I'm turning into a monster." she laughed lightly I just smiled at her "Well it's alright, we're all monsters!" I laughed with her .
