Chapter 8

Gemma's POV

We laid down on his bed, we cuddled and kissed each other "Gemma how are you so adorable?" he looked into my eyes smiling. I blushed "I'm not adorable, and I'm not cute." I pouted he just kissed me "Okay then, your beautiful!" I just blushed more "N-no I'm not!" I crossed my arms over my chest and sat up "Awe baby~" he sat up and pulled me into his lap "What's wrong?" he said in a baby voice "Don't talk like that." I shot at him in a nice way. He pouted and rocked me back and forth "I wanna get out of the house, do you?" I asked wrapping my legs around his waist "Yeah s-sure why not?" I smiled and and he stood up carrying me "Lets go tell Slender." I said and got down "Just wait by the door I'll come to you when I get done talking to him." he smiled "Okay, I'll be waiting." he walked down the stairs and I went to Slender's office. I knocked "Slender?" I heard him shuffling around "Yeah come in child!" I opened the door and there was books scattered everywhere "Whoa..." I said quietly "Oh good you finally came." He sighed "Oh... Oh yeah! shit sorry I forgot!" "Its alright child. What I found out about you... Your ancestors and you are the most strongest demons that roamed the earth, you's never obeyed the ruler of the underworld or the clouds." I stared at him "What do you mean?" "what I mean is your a demon, you will become immortal but that'll happen when you turn eighteen." I looked shocked at him "I turn eighteen in two weeks... What'll happen when I do?" he puts his hands across his chest "You'll go on a killing spree that'll last for two days." I just looked at him with my eyes wide "Well, is there something else you wanted to talk about?" I jumped "Oh yeah! Me and Toby wanted to go for a walk. mind if we go?" "No, just be back before midnight." I smiled "Okay thanks." I opened the door and walked out.

Toby's POV

I saw Gemma coming down the stairs, she seemed a little dazed "W-what's wrong babe?" She stopped in front of me "S-Slender found out what I was..." she looked up at me looking scared "W-when I turn eighteen, I'll become immortal, and go on a killing spree for two days straight..." I looked down at her shocked "W-well what are we going to do?!" she shrugged "You's could lock me out of the house on my birthday, so I won't kill any of you, and push me into the forest so I can't find my way back until it all settles down." she looked up at me "W-we could, but I want to be with you on your birthday..." she hugged me "I know, lets go on that walk, I need to clear my head." I smiled and opened the door "Yeah, lets go." she smiled as we started to walk away from the mansion. ~ Time Skip ~ we walked through the forest "Where a-are we going exactly?" I looked over at Gemma, she has stayed silent since we have left the mansion "O-oh, I want to go grab a few things at my old house..." I looked at her "W-why? that's just g-going to fill you w-with bad memories." she just shrugged "I'm going to have to live with it." I just sighed and continued to follow her "When are we going to be there?" I pouted and looked at her "Soon, probably an hours walk, but I took the long way there, so we won't be seen and it will take about an hour an a half." she looked up at me "I'll carry the baby~" she teased "Lets see then!" I jumped on her back and she held me steadily "You are light!" she laughed and continued to walk "Well I don't eat much." I laughed back she looked in the corner of her eye "Well eat more, I don't like seeing others not eat much." she turned back around "Well, it doesn't hurt or anything when I don't eat, like you know, but I love to eat." I laughed and kissed her cheek "You are taller than you were before." I jumped off of her and she was the same height as me "Wow! N-now I can kiss you better!" I joked he just pushed me lightly "Shut up, at least I'll be able to reach the top shelf now!" she laughed and I laughed too. We heard a twig snap "D-Did you heard that?" I said in a whisper "Yeah..." we crouched and hid behind a tree "Is someone following us?" she said to me she scanned the forest "This is smile's forest." I tapped my chin "He hasn't met you yet, only in the mansion when you were out, and he almost ate you." she gasped "Where had he been then?!" she hissed "On a k-killing spree. For the first few day you were here, he was out killing all over the US." she sighed and now I might be eaten?" she put her hand to her forehead "Well lets meet him." she was about to stand up until I pulled her down "He doesn't know your here yet, he only senses my presence right now, let me talk to him." I stood up and placed a pile of leaves in front of Gemma "Stay here!" I whispered to her she nodded "Hey smile!" I yelled and walked five feet from the tree. I heard running and I was almost talked down.

Gemma's POV

My eyes widened when I seen a dog with a human smile jump on Toby. "Hey boy, how've you been?" Toby laughed petting the dogs head I laughed lightly and the dog turned 'Shit!' I thought "Oh, it's okay boy she's a friend, the one from home, remember her? Stand up Gemma!" I stood up slowly and the dog growled "Awe, he's adorable!" I smiled "Hi, I heard about you, Smile, it's very nice to meet you." I said walking out of the bushes. He stood there eyeing me, he walked up to me sniffing me. I just smiled and and watched him, then he wagged his tail "It's very nice to meet you finally!" I bent down and started petting him "He's so cute." Toby just looked at me weirdly "Wow, this is the fastest he's gotten used to someone!" "I guess I'm the lucky one." I winked and stood up making Smile whine. "It's alright boy I'll play with you when we get home 'Kay?" he wagged his tail then barked running back home "You get alone with animals really well." I smiled "I love animals... I'm surprised you didn't know that." I stuck my tongue out at him and he just smiled "Okay lets get going!" I said dusting myself off and started walking again.
