Boss Can't Always Win

Jess's P.O.V

"Lakia! Jessica! The boss wants to see the two of you," Gerald informed us as we entered the secret lair.  We both nodded and followed Gerald to wherever the boss is. We both looked at each other worried. The boss doesn't normally have someone come get us unless it is very important. He usually just stops by our rooms and checks in on us.

Gerald leads us to the throne room. He then leaves us. We enter the room and walk forward. We bow in front of his throne.

"Rise," he tells us. We get up and look at him. 

"Why have you asked us here father?" Lakia asks him.

"Because I need you two to do something for me," he tells us, "I need you to bring me, someone. I need you to go to Helheim and bring me, my other daughter, Hela The Goddess of Death. I need to speak to her."

"Yes, Loki," we reply in unison. We then head to Helheim.

Eddie's P.O.V

Five days. It has been five days since Family day. Five days since Loki came. Five days since I have left my room. Five days since Loki took Jess. Five days since I lost my wife for a second time.

Everyone is trying to get her back. Searching for some sort of clue as to where she is. I know it is of no use. So, I stay in my room and try to think of where she can be. My kids want their mother to come back. I tell them that she will. That she is strong and will break free and return to us. All we have to do is hope.

I'm about to look out my window when an alarm goes off. I rush over to my hologram table and pull up the alert. A war has started. A war between Little Tokyo and India. Great. Jess and Katzs' and my and Joses' villages are at war. I sent the alert to Jose and Katz and told them to meet me here. 

I went to Morgan and asked her to watch Justin and Divina. She agreed. I went downstairs and saw the boys in their suits. I was already in mine. 

"Are we helping in the war or trying to stop the war?" Katz asks me.

"Trying to stop the war," I told the both of them, "And I think that I know who caused the war. And if my suspicions are correct then they will be their, watching the destruction. With a smirk on their face." The other two nodded and we headed to the battle zone, the pyramids.

Jess's P.O.V

After we got back with Hela we brought her to Loki. He then informed us that the peace between two villages has ceased. Perfect. He tells us to watch the destruction while him and Hela make plans.

Lakia and I then teleport to the battle grounds. The pyramids. We go a top the grandest pyramid and watch the destruction.

After a little while I see three members of the Few come and try to settle the disagreement. Iron Man tells the other two to try and stop the war. He says that he wants to go looking for the cause of this. He seems familiar.

I told Lakia and she said that we should go down and meet him. We walked down the pyramids and over to where he is standing.

"Jarvis, run a heat scan around the area. Find the people responsible," he said to his AI system.

"Sir, there are two people coming up behind you. I cannot sense any weapons, but be on guard. They still may be hostile," the AI system told him.

Iron Man turns around and faces us. He makes eye contact with me and I'd in pure shock. "Jessica. What are you doing here? We thought Loki had captured you!" The man told me.

"What are you talking about? I have always been loyal to Loki," I tell him confused.

"No! You can't be loyal to that son of a bitch! You have to come back to me. Please," he said hurt.

"My father is controlling her. Please save her so she can save me. I hate what I have become and need to be saved. All I have known for a long time is pain and suffering, and the one causing that was none other than me. Please help us," Lakia told him.

"Okay. I will help her and you," he said.

Lakia nodded and said, "I will knock her out. Then please make it look like you guys fought with me. I will go back to father and report that we were defeated," Lakia said. She was confusing me. She then turned to me and said, "Don't forget me." She shot me with magic. I was consumed by darkness.

Lakia's P.O.V

After I knocked Jess out, Iron Man beat me up. It hurt, but it had to be believable. I then teleported to Loki and told him The Few took Jess. He was furious. He sent Hela back to Helheim and made a plan to crush the "enemy".

Eddie's P.O.V

After Loki's daughter teleported away, I went back to the other two who had settled the brief war by having them sign a new agreement.

"Sly, where did Jess come from?" Katz asks.

"Long story. I will tell you later, but for now let's get her back to Stark Tower and see what happens when she wakes," I told them.

"I'll contact the team through the mind link," Jose says.

I hear him contacting the team while we are heading back.

Jess's P.O.V

I keep hearing strange noises. But all I see is darkness. I have heard this guy repeatedly telling me to wake up and go back to him. I hear others tell him that it has been only a couple of days and I will wake up.

I want to go back to him. To let him know I am okay, but the problem is I don't know who he is and I don't know how to get to him.

When I think all hope is lost I see a bright light. I then see a bunch of memories flash through my head.

Being six and being so naive and stupid, not knowing what is out there.

Finding out that the world is cruel and hates to see people succeed.

Losing my first friends. By disappearing, never to see them again.

Waking up on the island. Trying to run.

Realizing who I am.

Becoming Lady Thor.

Getting married.

Leaving.

All of them hit me like a speeding train, I can barely take it. I start to hear more, the rustling of someone beside me, light snores.

I can start to move my body, wiggling my toes, tensing up my muscles then relaxing them, and eventually opening my eyes.

I lift my head up and look around, I am in a familiar room, but I can't think of where I am.

I look to my right and see someone asleep. I recognize him from the memories. He slowly starts to wake up and sees me. He immediately gets up and hugs me. It feels right, almost natural.

"Oh Jess, I love you so much. Don't ever do that to me again," the guy says. It takes me a minute to realize who he is and I smile, time for a small prank.

I push him back and say, "Who the heck are you?"

He looked, hurt. "You don't remember me? After all, we have been through, you don't remember me!" He exclaims. He gets up and looks out the window. He is hurt. I never wanted to hurt him.

"No, I would never remember my husband who I love so so so much. I would never remember how I left you, you almost died several times and I come back only to be kidnapped by Loki. I would never forget you Edwin Jarvis Stark. I would never forget how I called you Sly until you remembered who you are," I tell him.

He turns around. I smile and walk over to him and kiss him on the cheek. He smiles and picks me up and spins me around. God, I love this man of iron.
