I help load the groceries into the back of Seth's car and then shut the trunk. He starts the engine while I buckle up and we begin to head home from the market, grabbing our groceries for the week. Little does he know, we are making a little pit stop today. I stare out the window to hide my grin because I can't wait to see my big brother's reaction for what's to come.

"So what else do you have planned for this lovely Saturday?" He asks me.

Lovely Saturday it is. "I think I am just going over to Nina's for a girls night, if that is okay?"

I look over and see Seth smirking. "What?" I ask him.

"You know, you are legally an adult now. If you want to go hang out with Dean, you can just say that."

I can't help the giggle that escapes me. "I swear. It is just Nina and I tonight. We need girl time."

"Mmhhmm." Seth rolls his eyes, still smirking, keeping his hands on the wheel. We are coming up to the turn in about a half mile.

"How are things with Dean now? I like that kid. Especially now that I know he wasn't being a dick to you."

Now I am the one rolling my eyes. "Things are great again actually. Although right now we are pretending not to be together at school. We are coming up with a plan right now to get back at that bi-Phoebe."

Seth looks over at me, confused and his brow arched, before turning his attention back to the road. "Say, what do you mean a plan? Like revenge?"

"Well yeah."

"Scar, that doesn't sound like you at all. Why do you feel like you need to get revenge?"

I cross my arms and bore my eyes into him. "You can't be serious? I told you what she did to me. I can't just keep sitting back and being the nice girl and letting her walk all over me and ruin what I have."

"So don't." He simply states. I cock my head to the side confused, waiting for him to finish. He looks at me again briefly before speaking. "All I mean is that, she's not perfect, but neither are you, and the two of you never will be. No one is."

I exhale loudly, annoyed. My arms still crossed. I look out through the window, my breath fogging up the window. I can't believe he is actually comparing me to that...that bitch. Still annoyed, I stay silent, hoping he has more to add to this little speech of his.

"But you can be better than someone. What she did was wrong, I get that and she probably does too"-I look at him with a 'are you serious' face, "I said probably. Maybe deep, deep inside." He giggles.

"But just because she did something jacked up doesn't mean you need to stoop to her level. Be the bigger and better person. The person you have always been and the girl that our parents raised." He pauses, catching his breath. I see him grip the steering wheel tighter.

"Did I ever tell you that Valerie's ex in high school tried to break us up after we graduated?"

I shake my head. "No." I had no idea that she even dated anyone else besides my brother. They have been together since the end of their junior year in high school.

"Yup. She dated this guy, Mitchel, when she was a junior. Months before we started dating. Anyways, so she broke it off with him because he was getting all clingy and just possessive. He was pissed off when he found out we were dating. The night of graduation, we went out to a party to celebrate with everyone and he showed up, drunk off of his ass. He started saying all this crap. 'You like my sloppy seconds Sethy boy? I just fucked her yesterday and she was sucking on my dick. How's my dick taste?'"
