Callie woke up to find the sun shining into the tent. She noticed that though it hung lower in the sky it was still up. The thing she wasn't expecting was Clarke standing in her tent with tears in her eyes. Quickly sitting up, Calliope swung her legs out of her bed and crossed over to her. "Hey, hey what's going on?" She asked putting her hands on the girls shoulders. Clarke sniffed and tried to shut her eyes to stop the tears.

"They got Wells last night. Grounders." The blonde said quietly. Green eyes narrowed at what Clarke said before it clicked. Wells was dead. "Wait last night? We just got back a few hours ago...he was with us." Callie said

Clarke shook her head looking at the older girl with confused eyes. "Callie you slept the entire day away yesterday...we let you sleep because you needed it." Callie was a bit shocked but her shock turned to sadness when she realized that the boy with the soft smile was gone. Pulling the blonde in, Callie could hear the sobs from Clarke as she stroked her hair. "Hey...it's okay." She said quietly.

Eventually Clarke composed herself and Callie followed her to the drop ship where Bellamy, Finn and Octavia were standing. Ocatvia turned around revealing what everyone was looking at on the table. Callie had to do a double take when she realized what it was. "Are those...fingers?" She asked looking up in horror at the faces who mimicked the look she had.

Octavia nodded. "Finn found them outside the gate by where they found Wells. Along with this." She said pulling out the knife. Clarke grabbed it out of her hands and started looking it over with a frown on her face. "This isn't from a Grounder...this is metal from the drop ship.

"What do you mean?" Callie asked looking away from the fingers and back at the girl. Clarke looked at Octavia and Finn chewing on her lip. "Who else did you tell about this?" She asked them

"No one... we brought it straight here." Octavia said quietly. Bellamy looked between her and Clarke before speaking. "Clarke...what are you saying?" He asked lowly. "It means Grounders didn't kill Wells. It was one of us."

Callie was trying to process the info when Clarke started making her way towards the door. Seeing Bellamy reach out and grab her she sighed knowing this was about to go south really fast. "Get out of my way Bellamy." Clarke said.

"Clarke be smart about this. Look at all that's been achieved...the walls, patrols. Like it or not thinking the Grounders killed Wells works out for us." He said quickly. As much as Callie hated it, she knew it was the truth. "Oh you mean good for you." Clarke spat at him. " What..keep people afraid and they work for you?"

Callie stepped forward looking between the two. "Clarke i know you're upset...but Bellamy is right. Fear of the Grounders is what has gotten that gate up so quickly. We need to be careful about this. Besides what are you going to do, march out there and demand that someone come forward? You don't even know who it could be."

Clarke turned her glare towards Callie and wrenched her arm out of Bellamy's grasp. "Oh really? J.M. John Murphy." Clarke said shoving the knife closer to Callie so she could see it. Before she could say anything else though, Clarke had grabbed the knife back and was stalking out of the drop ship towards Murphy. Shooting Bellamy a look, Callie followed her and caught up as she reached Murphy.

"You son of a bitch." Clarke said spinning him around. Murphy looked at her with a shocked look on his face. "What's your problem?" He said looking at her. Clarke held up the knife and Murphy looked kind of shocked that she had it. "Hey it's my knife..where did you get that?" He tried grabbing the knife but Clarke held it back.

"It was found by Wells fingers after you killed him." Clarke said with venom in her voice. Murphy stepped back and shook his head. "I didn't kill Wells..Grounders did." He said looking at Bellamy and Callie who he had realized was just there.
