Chapter 18

Rose p.o.v.

Smiling as Mike carries me downstairs. Wrapping my arms around his neck tightly not wanting to let go of him. He is very warm and right now im freezing.

Once we get downstairs he walks over to the couch. He tries to sit me down but I stop him. I didn't want to be left alone.

"Take me to the window bubby. I wanna watch the snow." I smile and he does what I asked him.

Bruce and Kanye were helping Noah put more wood into the fireplace to heat up the house. Lewis was picking out movies with Jace and Sean. Mom was in the kitchen with Jason, Jack, and Justin cooking up something to eat for everyone. The rest of the boys were bringing down pillows and blankets for everyone. Making a giant pallet on the floor and couches for everyone.

Staring outside at the snow my smile fades. I see a figure standing in the snow staring at me. He holds up a rabbit and cuts it throat as I scream scared and shaking.

Jason, Noah, and Lewis run and look outside the window. Lewis grabs me as I am screaming and crying. "Shhh don't look. Bruce get her away from the window now!"

Noah and Jason pull out there guns and shows them off to the figure. The figure smiles and disappears. I guess they scared him off with their guns.

Knowing it was Fred because of the smile on his face. Memories of what he did to me start to flow back into my mind. I start to panic and grasp for air.

"Um dad what's happening?" Bruce asks sounding worried.

"Shit!" Steven runs over to me. He puts my hand on his chest. I try to calm down but everything goes blurry. My eyes shut and I slip into darkness.

Noah p.o.v.

Jason and I put our guns away and head into the kitchen with Lewis and Julie following behind. The boys were taking care of Rose. She had a panic attack and past out.

"Who was that?" I ask angrily as my fist are clenched.

"That was either Tim or Fred. Julie call the detective and tell him everything that has happened." Jason says as Julie nods and takes out her phone.

"Okay I would feel better if some of the boys were aloud to carry their guns." Lewis says and I nod agreeing.

"Once Rose and Nick fall asleep. We will take the boys to the man cave downstairs and talk it out down there." Jason says rubbing his hand over his face.

"Don't worry brother she will be safe."I say patting his back as he looks at me with sad eyes.

I knew how worried Jason was because of the look on his face. He has accepted Rose and her brothers as his own children. So it is understandable to be worried.

"I see her and her brothers as my own now. And I'm in love with their mother." Jason says trying to hold back the tears.

"We all love you too Jason." Julie comes back into the room hugging Jason tightly.

"What the detective say?" Lewis asks sternly.

"They can't do anything because of the storm. We are on our own. Go talk to the boys. I will take care of the Rose and Nick. Just make sure the door is locked and the security system is up." Julie smiles giving Jason a kiss before she leaves the room.

We all walk back into the living room quietly. Julie is sitting down next to Rose rubbing her hair. Nick is laying his head on her lap as they watch a movie.

I signal for all the guys to follow us as we lead them to the basment. Jason puts in the code and the metal door opens. All of us step in as Lewis is the last to enter and closes the door behind him.
