It's been a few days since I met the Sandlot gang. We were trying to get Benny out, but he still ended up getting a home run. We were celebrating Benny's home run when we heard squints y'all.
"Ohh nooo!!!"
We all turned around and saw this team in a red and white uniform.
"Jeez Rodriquez, now you got a girl in your team, how pathetic."
"Shut your mouth Phillips!!"
" What do you guys want, we beat you last time!!" Ham yelled.
After Ham and Phillips insulted each other, Phillips's team challenged us to a game tmrw at his field at noon.
The Next Day...
We met at the Sandlot two hour early till we had to meet Phillips's team so we could get extra practice in.
Two hours later...
We were playing Phillips team, and surprise surprise, we were winning.
One hour later...
We won and they lost. After we left the field, Benny pulled me to the side.
"Hey babe, wanna go on a date tmrw?"
"Of course, I would love too!!"
" I'll pick you up at six, ok?"
"Yea, ok babe, I love you."
" I love you too, bye."
"Bye!"
After that, I walked home and went up to my room and put on some shorts, a tank top and kept on Benny's jersey and went straight to bed cause I was too tired to eat, and I fell right asleep.
Sorry it's short, I was too lazy. The next chapter will be Benny' and Cassie's date and the Fourth of July. Phillips game was on July 2nd and their date will be on July 3rd and the Fourth of July will be the day after their date.
