Chapter 1

Sophia POV

Mingi and I were sitting down on my bed. It was silent for a while. I didn't have anything to say I could barely look him in the eyes.

"Are you nervous?" He asked.

"Yeah, I've never been alone with a boy before. I shouldn't even be doing this. What if my mom or San see-"

"You're so pretty" he interrupted me while staring into my eyes. My heart started pounding once he said that. I was even more surprised once he leaned, grabbed my chin, and kissed me. I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"That's was my first kiss" I told him

"Do you want me to stop trying to do that with you? We could just sit here and talk"

"No, I want to go all the way"

I might not get the chance to be alone with him or any guy for that matter. I need to take advantage of this moment.

"I don't think you're ready for that. We just started talking. I don't want you to be disappointed if we don't work out because we were moving too fast"

"I trust you. You're San's friend you won't hurt me right?"

"I don't have any intentions on hurting you but, you won't like it. It's your first time. It's going to hurt" he said.

It seems like he's trying to talk me out of it. This is what I want. I'm tired of my friends talking about their sex life and I have none.

"I don't care I want you" I told him leaning in and kissing him. He finally kissed me back and got on top of me. He suddenly broke the kiss.

"I didn't ask to hangout with you to have sex. I just want to get to know you. You're so quiet and reserved. You're not like a lot of girls that I know"

"You're going to think I'm boring. I don't have much going on in my life other than school"

"And that's where I come in and bring some excitement in your life. Then, eventually we'll be able to tell your parents and be able to expose our relationship to everyone" he said. I just want to start off right" he added.

"Ok" I agreed. He got off me and we started talking about things that mattered like school, our future, and our goals.

"What's the three most important things in life?" He asked.

"My grades, my family, and my health. What about you?"

"Grades, family, and music" he said.

"You like music?"

"I rap and dance"

"Wow...Can I see?" I asked.

He got up to show me but, sat back down. "You're making me nervous. Maybe, another time"

"Are you going to Ryan's party? I heard it's going to be the biggest party of the year." He changed the subject.

"No...San is going though. I have to stay home and do our chores. So he doesn't get caught"

"That's not fair you shouldn't be at home cleaning for him and he gets to have fun. You save him all the time from getting in trouble but, he can't do the same for you or at least defend you in front of your mom?"

"I don't mind. I'm fine cleaning the house. As long as we don't get in trouble then I'm ok with it." I told Mingi.

It's all a lie. I hate staying home and cleaning. Especially, the fact that I have to cover for San while he's out living his best life. None of it is fair. I only do it because I feel that I have to. My mom comes down harder on me when things aren't done and I'm not trying to hear her mouth at all.

"Even if it's just for 10 minutes sneak out so we can talk" he said.

I wasn't sure but, if it's just for 10 minutes then it's not really a problem.

"Ok" I agreed on going.
