Chapter 7

Sophia POV

"Girl I'm hearing some crazy rumors right now" Kendra said.

"What rumors?" I asked confused.

"Well everyone is saying that you were sucking Mingi's dick at the park"

"What?!!!" I said in shock. That's a big lie. Mingi and I didn't even stay in the park for long.

"Who would even start such a ridiculous rumor. You and Mingi have only kissed. Your relationship with him is no innocent" she said which made me feel really guilty.

"We did do some things past kissing" I confessed.

"You really sucked his dick at the park" she gasped.

"No stupid" I rolled my eyes. "After that party, he gave me head and I tried to return the favor but it wasn't working out like we both wanted to so I gave him a hand job"

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want you judging me"

"Why would I judge you? You're my best friend"

I felt a little at ease when she said that. Maybe I shouldn't be hiding everything from her.

I got a text thinking that it would be from Mingi but, it was from San.

Annoying🙄: we need to talk as soon as we get home because I don't like what I'm hearing about you and my friend

I have a date with Mingi tonight and I honestly don't care for what San has to tell me because it's just a false rumor.

Me: I can't I'm staying after school to study in the library

Annoying🙄: then I'll come study with you

I instantly rolled my eyes. He's ruining everything already.

In the middle of the day, Mingi cancelled our date because "there's a lot of thing going on".

I guess I'll just go straight home after school since I don't have anything to do.

After school...

I came on after school and within 20 minutes of me being here San texted me.

Annoying🙄: where are you I'm at the library

I completely forgot that I told him I would be there today.

Me: I changed my mind and came home

Annoying🙄: I'll be there

I'm honestly not happy to speak today. Ever since he's been helping my mom enabling me from having a life outside of school I stopped talking to him as much. I only tell him good morning whenever I see him before he goes to school and sometimes I don't so we rarely speak. Which is sad because we use to be really close.

He came ten minutes later and came to my room.

"You have some explaining to do" he told me.

"So I'm in court now?"

"Sophie stop being childish. Did you really do that with Mingi?" He asked.

"Do what?" I acted confused.

"You have him head at the park"

"You and me both know that I'm not even allowed to go to the park. Why would you believe something like that? I don't even speak to Mingi"

"You're right" He said sitting on my bed. I wish he would leave like right now.

"So how's school?" He asked.

"It's good" I said barely making eye contact with him.

"I don't see what I did to you to make you not want to speak to me anymore. We were close"

"I don't know maybe you're the reason why I'm not allowed to go anywhere"

"You weren't allowed to go anywhere before I was here. You were hanging out with Kendra and she's nothing but bad news. I had to tell your mom what you guys were doing that night"

All that happened is some guy tried to kiss me but, I did reject his kiss only to go home and deal with my mom yelling at me because San told her the story in a bad way.

"You made it seem like I went out with Kendra to be with a bunch of guys"

"But didn't you?"

"You know what leave my room" I demanded.

"No! I just wanted to catch up but, you're not letting me do that"

"Because I honestly don't care to even to do that. Stay in your lane and I'll stay in mine"

"But, it doesn't need to be like that. We do live together"

"But why would you do that to me knowing how my mom is?" He asked him.

"Sit down and I'll tell you" he responded. I sat down right next to him waiting for him to explain himself.

Out of no where, he kissed me.
