Chapter 4

The next morning I woke up......to Kian screaming all the way from downstairs. I was super tired but I couldn't manage to go back to sleep. I gave a sigh and a groan and walked up to the bathroom. I washed my face with Berry Burst facial scrub and brushed my teeth. Then I applied my contacts and my every day make-up. I headed downstairs and yelled "hey what's all the screaming about."

    

"I cannot believe that we are invited to a party. I just,  I know it's gonna be huuge", Connor said excitedly,

"Oh-my-god, I cannot wait, when is it?", I asked.

"Umm....tonight", replied Trevor, worried.

"Umm, yeah sure who's hosting?" I asked again.

"Jack and Jack", replied Jc.

"Oh, well I haven't seen them in a while but it should be cool" I hesitated.

"Can you call Cameron and tell him to come over", I asked.

"I'll try", replied Kian annoyingly.

"Oh and you'll need a date", screamed Sam.

I went upstairs to pick out an outfit. I ended up choosing a black lace strapless crop top and black lace shorts. I grabbed my purse and I put my phone, my lipgloss and my earphones for listening to music in the car. The door bell rang and I knew it was cameron so I sprinted to open it. As he came in he hugged me and said "Woah, you look beautiful." I smiled and said "Thank you and all the boys blew wolf whistles and said "Woah" or "Dayumm". I felt so incredibly embarrassed. I only wore red lipstick, a smokey eye and winged eyeliner. I kind of looked like Lycia Faith and I was proud.

About 2 hours later, the boys got ready and we headed to the car, Kians car. When we got in, I gasped as I remembered that I needed a date .

"What's wrong?", asked Cam.

"I forgot to bring a date ", I replied, frustrated.

"Don't worry you'll find someone there", he said.

"Alright... well who are you bringing", I said.

"I'm taking Mahogany", he replied with a smile on his face.

"Oh and Bethany, I forgot to tell you this but Matt is going to be there."

I froze and my heart almost stopped."I'm sorry, I didn't know but he just texted me now, do you still wanna go?", he said. I thought about this for a while.

"Yeah, of course I'm not gonna stay hiding forever", I boldly said.

After 20 minutes, we arrived. The house was huugge. As we got in, the boys split up and met up with their friends. Cameron went to greet Mahogany and I was left alone so I grabbed some punch and sat on the couch. I was about to grab my phone and go on twitter until I heard "That isn't Bethany Hood sitting on the couch in front of me, is it?" Said and unkown voice. I turned around and to my suprise, I saw Jack Gilinsky stand there with his arms out. I got up and put my hands over my mouth. "Oh my god, hiiiii", I said, jumping onto him and hugging him. He did thay adorable smile that he does and he put me down.

"So how's life, tell me everything, it's been ages." He smiled.

"Yeah, I know right, there's not much going on", I replied.

"Cool", he said. "I'm sorry about...."

"It's ok", I interrupted "Don't worry about it,  have you seen him anywhere?" I asked. Jack seemed surprised but said

"Yeah he's over there", pointing to a room.

"Oh, ok thanks", I replied.

He looked confused but I said "What do you wanna do?"

"I dunno, we could play truth or dare", he said, in hope that I'd agree.

"Sure, sounds fun", I agreed. We were walking towards the room to where the game was happening. As we were about to go inside, a familiar girl barged through, holding hands with Matt. I froze and stared at them. "Do you still wanna go?", Jack said.

"Umm, umm yeah sure, pfft who cares", I said trying not to act sad. We got in and sat in circles. There was Carter, Taylor, me, Matt, Nash, Hayes and Amy. Amy Stuart, how could I forget? She looked at me with her sinister eyes before trying to act all innocent and saying "oh my god it's Bethany, Bethany Hood. How precious. Aww baby. Not my baby of course", she said, touching her stomache and doing her fake texas laugh because she's from texas. I stared at it. I cannoy believe it. A baby bump. I felt tears take over my eyes but I fought them back.

"Matty baby look it's her" she said, trying to make me jealous.

"Errr.....yeah", said Matt looking sorry for me.

"So shall we start the game?" Said Taylor, breaking the awkwardness.

Amy spinned the bottle and it landed on me. Great. "Lucky you", she annoyingly said. "Truth or dare." She knew everything about my past so I couldn't say truth. I had no choice. "Dare", I said trying to act brave.

"Aren't you feisty", she began. "Ok.....well I dare you to....". She paused for a while and looked around. Then she looked back at me. Oh god. I wasn't prepared for what she's about to give me. "I dare you to kiss Matt", she said with an evil smile on her ugly ass face. Matts eyes widened at he looked at me. I tried not to react but I quickly said "I can't". Amy scoffed." Why not? Are you afraid, chicken?", she mocked, smiling at me and pretending that she actually gives a fuck about my life. "NO! I'm not afraid", I said.

"Then what?" She replied.

"Because, because", I nervously said

"Because Jack's my boyfriend!".........
