Chapter 18

The party finished and me and Nate were still in bed.

No one knew about this so i tried my ultimate best to keep this a secret.

" Hey, Nate, listen..... i know you think i broke up with Sammy after he cheated on me but... I didn't." I nervously said.

"Are you kidding me?!" he shouted

"Please, don't be mad" I reassured.

"Don't be mad? You're unbelievable. First you fool me into sleeping with you and when i do i find out you're still with my best mate?"

There was an awkward moment of silence.

"Excuse me" I finally let out as i grabbed my things and headed out.

I left the room and slowly closed the door, tears drowning my eyes.

I locked the door and sat behind it, my hands holding my face as i burst out in tears

What have i done? This is all my fault. I wanted to get revenge on Matt for cheating on me with Amy and it went way too far.

I called Matt and he came to pick me up.

Maggie had already left so i was alone sitting on the pavement, waiting for Matt to arrive.

A car honked and i looked up and there was Matt waiting in his car.

"Matt" i ran up to him as he came out of the car and opened his arms wide as i leaped onto him.

"I'm so sorry Matty" i cried into his shoulder as he carefully stroked my back

"Hey, look at me" he said as he lift my chin and wiped my tears "It's ok, baby, i'm here, shh" he said

"No, Matt, you don't understand..... I cheated on you" i whispered, my heart pounding briskly

"I know" he whispered, kissing my head

"What?" I said, confused.

"Last night....... I saw Nate's tweet and i went to the party.... Then i asked Dillon if he  knew where you where and he said he saw you and Nate head up to the bedroom" he said "Then I went up and I heard"

"Oh" I said knowing exactly what he meant.

"But listen I don't care we weren't in a serious relation-"

"I'm doing drugs Matt" I let out, completely scared about what he was gonna think.

"Wha-what?" He said

"Can we go to a café,......I wanna talk to you about this. Somewhere private" I replied.

He nodded yes and we got into his car and drove to our favourite café that we always used to go to before any of this drama.

We seated ourselves down and order coffees and 2 tiramisu cakes.

"So" he said, taking a sip, waiting for me to explain.

"About 6 months ago-"

"When we broke up?" He interrupted.

"Yes...." I said. "I started hooking up with this dealer from back in high school and I have been dealing with him ever since our break up..."

He nodded for me to carry on.

*sigh* "He told me that it 'relieves pain' and I was in so much pain after we broke up because I loved you so frickin much and....." I started tearing up so I changed the topic "then I asked for cocaine, heroin, LSD all sorts. At first, I didn't think it was a big deal but I started acting up and cheating and lying and I didn't know until yesterday... It started messing with my personality and I thought I was bipolar so I went to the doctors but I soon found out."
