Maybe, I won't see you ever again.
This is just the beginning.I can't bear this ugly truth.
Promise me, you'll be back soon?
What will I do without you, mother?
Will dad only find another?Who will keep him from sinning?
This is just the beginning.I have cried and I have weeped,
Praying for your Godspeed.
But I don't know what else to do.
I think I'm nothing without you....
This feels more like an abrupt end,
Than some stupid beginning.
I only want you here with me.
I'll keep screaming
EvenIf
It's
Silently.
AUTHOR'S NOTE

This chapter is dedicated to shan96 because she showed my most recent poetry book so much love and inspired me to keep writing poetry. She played a huge part in me ultimately deciding to have Godspeed alternate between prose and poetry! So, just in case you haven't caught on, the next chapter is going to be prose and I'll continue with that pattern until the book ends!
In the meantime don't forget to vote and comment letting me know what you thought! P.S. when selecting dedication I prioritise comments, so don't be a silent reader! Even a one-liner is okay!
IN THE NEXT CHAPTER...
