The night hovered over the village while the Brotherhood were resting in peace... However the Grim Reaper remained uneasy with the truth he is living in... But one was there for him to warm that sadden heart.

Emelka... Slumbering civilians with the moon remaining over the sky as Yugo, Flopin, Elely, Felyne, and everyone else were sleeping peacefully... The Percedel family were resting in an Inn that the village has while you and Amalia shared a room... However... You were the only one who couldn't sleep as you jerked upwards in bed as you sat up and placed your hand on over your face...

You quietly said while Amalia was asleep right next to you as you got out of bed and made your way towards the door.
(y/n): I-I-I got to have her back... I can't take this...
As soon as you placed your hand on the door knob... You hear a familiar yet sleepy voice.

You looked over your shoulder to see Amalia was half awake and sitting in bed as she rubs one of her eyes.
Amalia: What are you doing up so late? Come back to bed.

Amalia: What's so important that you have to do it at this time?

You turn back towards the door as you couldn't answer Amalia's question as you just stood there with your hand over the handle... However, seconds later have passed and you felt a pair of arms wrapped around you from behind as Amalia's voice spoke.
Amalia: What's wrong? You look upset.
(y/n): I... I'm fine, Princess... I just can't sleep at all...
You then let out a sigh before feeling Amalia's hand gently grabs your hand away from the door and intertwines her fingers with yours as she smiles.
Amalia: It's ok, I'm right here.
You looked at Amalia as she smiles so softly before you did the same as your forehead gently touched as you replied.

[Timeskip with (y/n) sitting behind Amalia as he gently brushes her hair while Amalia just relaxes with eyes closed.]
The sun slowly rises from the horizon as you and Amalia were still asleep in bed as Amalia rolls to the side, now laying close to you as you felt her presence and wrapped your arms around her as she smiles in her sleep... However... Even in such peace... It never lasts.
???: No! Don't do it! I don't think Mr. (y/n) would like that!
???: Pffft I'm sure it's ok!
Suddenly the door was forced open as a Iop girl came rushing in, jumps on the edge of the bed and then into the air.
Elely: WAKE UP UNCLE (Y/N)!!!
Amalia had a face of uneasy no thanks to Elely's unnecessary shouting as you held your tight and raised a hand towards Elely, caught her in a magic bubble as Elely seems confused before you commanded the bubble out of the room with Elely inside the bubble as the door closes thanks to Flopin.

And so... Peaceful silence was back again as Amalia's sweet smile returns as she gently places both her hands on your chest as Amalia speaks in her sleep.
Amalia: Oooh~ My hero~
(y/n): Ssssshhh...
You gently patted Amalia's emerald hair while one of your eyes was slightly opened before closing it once more. You and Amalia stayed like this for a little while as both your legs were intertwined as everything fades to black...
And the title "Wakfu" appeared as the title was untouched and peaceful silence fills the air.
