A few hours later Jacob woke up to the smell of food. He looked next to him to see Erica scarfing down the MacDonald he brought earlier "greedy ass" he mumbled turning over, causing her to look over at him and give him a cheeky smile. "I see you enjoying the food" she nodded her head fast "yup, thank you" she said with a mouth full of food "your welcome" he chuckled.
"we need to talk" she said swallowing her food. Jacob nodded telling her to continue "I'm sorry for the way I was acting towards you, I was just hurt that you lied to me" she said crumbling her garbage up and putting it on the bedside table. "you broke my heart Jacob and I just wanted you to hurt as much as I did" she told him.
"well ma I'm sorry for hurting you it was never my intention to hurt you I just never had someone to care for me the way you did" he told her "and to be honest with you I felt like you broke my heart too. You knew how much I loved you and I didn't care if we were moving too fast but when you left me in that hospital I hated you. I hated you for doing what you said you would never do. Leave me" Erica pointed her finger at him"don't you even go there Jacob I gave multiple chances to change and you didn't and as for me leaving you in the hospital that was suppose to be a wake up call and I see it worked 'cause you checked yourself into rehab and bettered yourself your daughter and unborn child" she told him "and for you too" he grinned "I did that shit for you too. I love you and I don't ever wanna loose you, I did all that shit to get you back" he smirked. "You just knew that shit was gone work huh?" she asked him "well ya know" he said popping his invisible collar.
"well I guess it worked" she shrugged. "you fo' real?" he asked and she nodded "yup, I want you back in my life and most importantly in your child's life" Jacob smiled wide "you just made me the happiest man in the world" he told her "but we taking things slow this time" Jacob nodded "I don't care as long as I got my girl and child back" he told her kissing her cheek. "I love you and I'm willing to do whatever it takes for us to be a family again" he told her "you better because I have no problem with kicking you out both of our lives again"
"that'll never happen cause I don't ever plan on messing up again" he said rubbing on her stomach "it gone be me, you, Zi and our baby girl" Erica looked a him like he was crazy "we ain't having no girl" she told him "you don't want a girl? I thought every woman's dream was to have a lil girl so they can do their hair and dress them up" he said in mocking voice "hell no I don't want a girl there too much work plus we already got Zi. I ain't tryna raise more girls" he laughed "well I want another princess so I could spoil her" he told her "we I want a little boys so he could be a mamas boy" she told him "if we have a boy he damn sure ain't gone be no mamas boy"
