"Wake up Erica" Jacob said shaking her "what Jacob" she mumbled "get up" he told her "5 more minutes" she mumbled "no get up or we'll be late to your appointment" he said slapping her ass "Jacob!" she pouted rubbing her butt. "I'm sorry" he pecked her lips "but get up this is my first doctors appointment and I don't wanna be late" he told her grabbing her hand and gently pulling her out the bed. "ugh, you are so annoying" she said walking into the bathroom.

"finally you ready, I didn't know what you would want for breakfast so we just gonna get something on the way" Erica nodded then grabbed her purse from the kitchen counter before following him out the door.

"Here take these" Jacob said tossing the bag of pills on Erica's lap. She sighed before finishing the last bite of her food "what you sighing about over there" Jacob asked her "I don't want to take these damn pills" she said tossing them back in his lap "Erica" he warned while keeping his focus on the road "Jacob" she mocked him "Erica seriously take the damn pills" he told her and she ignored him.

Pulling up to a stop light he picked the bag up and looked through it "Erica have you been taking any of these things" he asked her as she was scrolling through her phone "answer me!" he yelled and she shook her head "why not" he asked and she didn't answer and kept scrolling on her phone"I said why not Erica" she signed before answering him "I take the parental vitamins but I don't take the other stuff because they make me feel sick" she mumbled as she played with her fingers. Sighing he told her to take the pills and she did.

Jacob pulled up to the clinic a few minutes later. He got out and went to help Erica out the car. He grabbed her hand and pressed the button on his keys to lock the door as they made there way into the clinic "can you sign me in while I go pee" Erica asked him "alright" he said letting her hand go.

"why your legs shaking"  Erica asked "this my first appointment, I'm kinda nervous" he chuckled rubbed the back of his head . "it gonna be fine, your went through this before" she told him rubbing his leg "nah I haven't" Erica furrowed her eyebrows "you never when through this when Tina was pregnant with Zaria?" she asked him and he shook his head "nope didn't even know she was pregnant until I saw her at the grocery store 2 weeks before she was ready to  gave birth" he told her "I'm sorry to hear that" Jacob nodded "she told me that she didn't want a drunkard as her baby daddy" "I can understand why she said that, Jacob you can be aggressive when your drinking" he nodded "that's why I went and got help I don't wanna hurt the people I love" he told her. "aww" she cooed.

"Erica Latimore" the nurse said looking up from her clip board "let's go" Jacob said standing up and stretching his hand for her to take it "where are you going she didn't call us" she told him "yes she did" he told her "my last name isn't Lati-Oh" Erica said as she realised that Jacob signed her in with his last name  "my last name will never be Latimore" she told him as they walked down the hallway behind the nurse "you don't want to be my wife" he asked his voice slightly breaking "hell no"

Damn that shit hurt 'cause Erica is the only girl that I ever though about marrying. Jacob thought to himself. Noticing Jacob change in attitude Erica quickly corrected her words "I mean not right now cause we suppose to be taking things slow" she told him "yea whatever" He said brushing her off.

"Hello Erica, how are you today" the doctor asked "hey doctor cox and I'm doing great" she replied "that's good to hear I see you brought some company along with you today" he said gathering his equipment "yea this is Jacob my baby's father, Jacob this is doctor cox" she introduced them "its nice to meet you" doctor cox said shaking Jacobs hand "nice to meet you too doc"

"Alright Erica could you hop up on the chair" he told her putting on a pair of gloves "sure" she said sliding on the chair as he looked at the clip board "alright so it looks like today is the day you find out the sex of your baby you excited?" he asked putting his clipboard down and turning on the machine "yes I can't wait to see what were having I hope its a boy" Erica said "what about you Jacob" he asked "I want a girl but a healthy baby will be just fine" the doctor gave him a warm smile "that all we can hope for, Erica you been taking the Ferrous Fumarate right" he asked her referring to the iron pills she need for her anaemia as he checked her blood pressure and iron levels "yupp" she said "you sure" he asked and she nodded "if I didn't have the evidence right in front of me that you weren't then I would have believed you" he said causing them all to laugh. "OK I haven been taken the anaemic pills" she told "why aren't you taking them" he asked her "because they make me nauseous" she told him "you gotta take them unless your be baby will come out a deformity, I'll prescribe you something for the nausea" he told her. "Alright" she sighed.

"okay as you can see this is the head, and this is the arm and legs are over here" the doctor said moving the thing around her stomach "let's check that private area to see what were having" the doctor said moving the transducer across her stomach "looks like your having..." he paused as he moved the wand around her belly "a boy!" he said

"aye im going to have mini me running around" Jacob smiled "so glad its not a girl phew" Erica said wiping invisible sweat from her forehead. "yo doc what's that" Jacob asked pointing to the screen "that's the other arm" he told Jim "oh 'cause I was about say he got a big dick for a baby" Jacob said bluntly earning a slap to the back of his head from Erica "sorry" he mumbled.

After the appointment Jacob and Erica picked Zaria up from school and took her to the park now there just chilling and watching tv.

"Guess what Zi" Jacob said as he plopped down on the couch next to her "what?" she asked "guess" he told her "I'm getting a pony for my birthday" she said getting all excited "uh no, but is that what you want for your birthday?" He asked "no I want a car" she told him "a car? Do you even know how to drive?" He asked her and she shook her head "well if you don't know how to drive how you gone want a car" he asked and she shrugged. "Well think about it okay?" "ok" she said.

"Anyways back to what I was saying your going to have a little brother!" He said excitingly but Zaria just gave him a blank stare "you not excited about having a little brother" he asked her "no" she said folding her arms "why not" he asked "because I want a sister" she told him "well you not getting a sister" he told her "blah blah blah" she she said pitting her fingers in her ear.

Jacob slapped her hands away "keep that up and you won't be having a birthday party" he told her.

"I sorry daddy , I just want a sister" she told him " how about when miss Erica have your brother will make you a sister deal?" He asked "deal!" She said holding out her pinky for him to lock his with hers.
