Katsuki POV
06:34
'ei... the love of my god damn life... is dating me... LIFE I LOVE YOU RIGHT NOW!'
ei starts to stir in his sleep, he looks distraught. like somethings wrong.
'shhhh... don't worry...' i say sweet, soothing words into his ear and he calms down, but he's hugging me like there's no tomorrow. also, he's calm but he has tears streaming down his face, still exiting his eyes. now i have to wake him up soon.
Eijiro POV
fire.
fire.
fire.that's all you could see for miles.
it was horrifying.
i needed to find my siblings, i found almost all, i found tsuki, aki, aika, and asahi. i'm missing emi, my older sister.
i go looking around the forest, mom brought us here to "teach us a lesson," about life. how people leave you, hurt you, break you.
i look for hours until i find something that i wish i didn't.
emi...
chained to a tree...killed.
but then, something that didn't happen, happened.
emi lifted her head. i got it all off of her and i got her back to the others. everyone was safe.
but in my mind, i know that's not how it goes.
she died, emi, my loving, fun older sister died. because i got in a fight with mom so we all had to pay the price, cause she said were "a team" or a "package deal," how fucking stupid.
she didn't even notice when only 5 kids came back and not 6.
"wake up ei~" i hear being said in a sweet whisper, which i woke up to.
"morning suki~" i say but but yawn right after.
"how did you sleep? you had some night terrors..."
"y-yeah..."
"wanna talk about it?"
"i don't mind as long as no one else is up, it's a topic no one really likes to talk about..."
"no one is up, i woke you up cause you stirred a few times and i wanted to make sure your alright."
"it's about... e-emi..."
"who's emi?"
"my older sis-sister..."
"ei it's okay, no need to shake..." he says, grabbing me and pulling me into a hug.
"t-thanks..."
"of course..."
"o-okay... so... emi died in a fire... when aki was 2 and i was 7... but she died in the worst possible fire... remember the wildfire of xx?"
"yeah..."
"sh-she was the one out of the 6 kids who didn't make it... my mom set the forest on fire as a lesson and she chained emi up to a tree, i found her after a few hours of looking..." i say this with tears pouring down my face, but i do have to be strong, even if no one is around.
"im so sorry ei... but you know you don't always have to be strong and play the hero, you can let your facade down..."
"b-but i can't... then aki, aika and asahi won't have anything to look up too, and tsuki needs something to learn from... they're not the best at being role models so i have to for them..."
"you don't always have to be strong, then they'll learn that it's never okay to be sad because they'll never see you cry, so they'll think it's bad..."
"y-your right... i just need—"RING RING RING (it's the house alarm, idk the sound)
Katsuki POV
'shit!'
i see everyone else woke up, their huddling together, crying. they don't want to die right as their life is turning around, and i don't blame them. then i see ei, he's in a ball, "go over to them, i'll be right back!" i yell over the alarms. he nods and runs over to them, he's scared as all hell but goes and comforts them, makes them feel safe, he's so brave and is happy to help as you can see a small smile on him when he's comforting them.
