My record player woke me up. I jump off my bed and go over to my record player turning it off. I turn around letting out a small scream to see billy standing by my window. My hand holding my chest my eyes wide.
"What are you doing here, my mom could easily walk in here and see you." I yell quietly. He smirks and shrugs his shoulders.
"Just came to take you out" he says
I raise my eyebrows "take me out, you don't seem like that type of person to take people out." I mumble.
He rolls his eyes "just get ready" he mumbles and turns towards my window opening it and jumping out. I sigh and go to my closest, I grab my jean jacket and jeans and a white tee shirt. I take off my clothes that I wore to school. Throwing the other clothes on I go to my desk grabbing my brush and brushing my hair. I open my bedroom door and I silently walk to the bathroom. I brush my teeth real quick. Looking at my self in the mirror i sigh and grab my moms red lipstick that she never uses. I start to apply it making sure I don't mess up. After that I look back at the mirror. I nod my head and walk out of the bathroom going back to my room grabbing my bag and jumping out of my window. I crack my window so I could get back in. I walk out of my drive way to see Billy's Camaro parked on the side of the road. I go over to the passenger side door and I open it climbing in.
"You look nice" he says
I roll my eyes "just drive Hargrove" I mumble with a smile on my face. He lets out a chuckle and turns his car on. He drives slow past my house but instantly floors the gas pedal. I look out the window to watch the trees pass by. He turns up the radio the song was white wedding by billy idol. I start to hum to the music and shake my head. I loved this song. I could feel Billy's eyes on me.
"Hey little sister what have you done" I sing while smiling. I hear billy laugh and I look over at him and I roll my eyes while laughing. We started to sing horribly together till we reached our destination. We parked and got out walking into the diner. Instantly getting hit with the smell of grease food. We sit down in a booth and look at the menus.
I decided on a cheeseburger and some fries with a coke. The waitress comes over and takes our orders. Billy got a double cheeseburger with fries and a coke also.
"So why did you decide to come and get me?" I ask
He shrugs his shoulders "I want to get to know you more" he says with a small smile. The waitress comes back with our cokes and smiles at billy. I roll my eyes and grab my straw putting it in the cup taking a sip.
"Well if you want to get to know me ask some questions." I mumble.
"Sounds good to me" he smirks
"Nothing sexual Hargrove" I say with wide eyes.
He laughs "don't worry sweetheart."
I glare at him but I could feel my face heating up from what he said to me.
"So what's your favorite song?" He asks. I smile and look into his eyes
"I love white wedding by billy idol and I love should I stay or should I go by the clash. I love most music" I say with a bright smile.
He looks at me and smiles at me.
He asked questions while I answered for the rest of the time and it was nice to get out of my house for once.
"Excuse me but we are closing" a waiter says.
I sigh and look at billy as he places the money down and gets up. I get up and walk to the door with him. We exit the diner and we go to his car. He opens the passenger side door for me and I smile up at him.
"Thank you billy" I whisper
He smiles and shuts my door after I got in. We pull out of the diner and he heads towards my home.
"I'm glad you picked me up billy" I say. He looks at me and chuckles
"Good cause I'm gonna do that more often it was nice to get away from my dad" he says.
I smile and look out the window. I felt his hand grab my thigh. I didn't notice I was shaking my leg. I'm so used to it that's why. I look at his hand as he rubs his thumb back and forth.
"You okay?" He asks.
"I look at him and smile "yea just tired" I say quietly. He pulls to my drive way and puts his car in park. His hand leave my thigh and he unlocks the door for me to get out.
I smile and open the door getting out I shut the door and he rolls the window down. "I had fun" he says while smiling. I smile back at him "so did I, get home and get some rest Hargrove" I say and I turn around heading to my window. I open it and climb through not noticing my mom sitting on my bed. I let out a small scream and she gets up. I could see the anger in her eyes.
"Where did you got?" She says as calm as she could. I sigh and rub my face. "I went to the diner with a friend" I mumble.
"Don't lie to me, who did you go with young lady?" I glare up at her "I went with Billy Hargrove mom" I sneer out.
"You are not allowed to drive your car for a month, you disobeyed me and that pisses me off. Go take a shower now" she yells. I throw my bag onto the ground and I grab my pajamas and some underwear going to the bathroom. I turn the shower on jumping in after getting all of my clothes off along with my lip stick.
I was in the shower for 30 minutes. Why dose she take her anger out on me but not Jonathan. He left will to trick or treat by him self when he was having episodes. But I sneak out just to hang out with billy I get grounded from driving my car. That's bullshit I thought to my self. I get out drying off my body and hair. I pull on my clothes and walk to my room grabbing my brush. I brush through and hair getting the knots out and I turn my light off. I curl up under my covers and I look out my window. The sky was clear and the stars where bright. I sigh and close my eyes letting my body get some rest.
I had a dreamless sleep, waking up was still hard for me but I rolled over and climbed out of bed look at my clock to see it was 11. I was late for school I hurry up and grab my clothes and I throw them on, I brush my hair and I brush my teeth. I run out to the living room to see my mom sitting on the couch. She looks up and raises her eyebrows.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm late for school" I say frantically.
"Chloe you got suspended for punching someone." She says while shaking her head.
"Oh I forgot." I turn around and I sulk to my room throwing my bag into the ground. I take my clothes off and I put on my pajamas. I turn on my record player turning it down a bit while I take my homework out to do. I sit on my bed writing all the answers down.
My mom pokes her head into my room
"I'm going to get will, you want to come?" I look up at her and shrug getting up walking out of my room putting my shoes on. I get into the car and I stay silent the whole car ride. Getting to the school I look over to see billy leaning up against his Camaro. He sees me staring and he smirks at me. I let out a huff and I look forwards.
"Where is your brother" my mom says. I could tell she was getting worried.
"I don't know maybe he's talking to his friends" I say. She opens her door and shuts it. I was confused so I got out. I don't care if anyone saw me in my pajamas. I hurry towards my mom. She enters the middle school.
"Will, where are you" she yells. Walking down each hall till we got to an exit. The door opens and mike comes running in.
"Where is Will" my mom asks. "He's out in the field" mike says frantically. I run past them and open the door. I sprint towards will seeing him on the ground. He wasn't awake, I feel his pulse it was still there. My mom grabs him and runs towards her car.
"Mom what are you doing" I scream out.
"Stay here Chloe" she yells. I sigh and look at the kids. They looked upset. I frown "you guys should go home" I whisper. They all turn and walk away. I look over to see the red head standing there. " are you Billy's little sister?" I ask
She looks up at me and laughs "he's not my brother, he's my step brother but I don't not even think of him as a brother." She says. I shrug my shoulders "let's go I'm sure he's still waiting for you"I mumble. We head to the parking lot and he was still there. He looked pissed. He stops leaning on his car and stands straight glaring at the poor girl,
"Where the hell where you." He sneers
She rolls her eyes and looks at me and gives me a small smile. "My names max" she says quietly . I smile down at her "nice to meet you max I'm Chloe. She nods her head and smile while walking to the passenger side door of Billy's car. I glare at him, "you should be nice to her" I say. He rolls his eyes and smirks at me. "Oh sweet cheeks I love your attitude" he says. I sigh and I start to walk towards my home. I hear the rumble of his car coming towards me.
"You need a ride?" He asks I look at him and nod my head. "My mom left me to take my brother somewhere" I mumble.
"Well get in"
I nod my head
"Max get in the back" he grumbles out to her. She rolls her eyes and climbs over the seat I open the door getting in and shutting the door. He speeds out of the parking lot and heads towards my house.
"Thank you" I whisper. He looks over at me and smiles "no problem sweet cheeks" he says. I roll my eyes and look out the window. I see my house and I grab my bag. He pulls into my drive way and puts his car in park. I look at him and I smile. "Thank you again" I say and open the door getting out. I shut his door and I run up to my house door unlocking it. I shut my door and I run to my room. I
Smile and I jump on my bed. There is something about him, it's like I can't stay away from him even if I try to I just can't. I lay down and close my eyes dozing off.
