Chapter Five.

"Heyy Eboni! Thank you so much for letting Baby Girl come over!"

"Chick shut up! I don't even want to talk to you even though you are looking all sexy today. Just drop MiMi off and leave! You haven't talked to me in over a week, so what's up with that bitch!" She says her hand resting on her hips.

"So you see what had happened was..."

"Oh shut up and get in this damn house!" She shouts pulling me into the door of her one bedroom apartment.

See this is what I meant when I said Eboni was crazy! One minute this chick is all in your face then the next she's telling you how amazing you are.

"MiMi! You're back!" Cameron says running on his short legs to Baby Girl giving her a big hug.

"Camy!" She exclaims hugging him back. There is no doubt in my that one day Baby Girl and Cameron will end up together one of these days.

"Aww! Ain't that cute?" Eboni coos at the two kids.

"Yeah it is."

"Shut up Bitch I don't want to talk to you!"

She is so immature sometimes!

"Please Eboni I am soo sorry!"I beg her only for her to turn the other cheek.

"Would you forgive me if I told you I had a date tonight?" I ask her already knowing the answer.

"What?! A date! Tell me more Heffa!" She demands dragging me to her couch which pulls out into a bed which she sleeps on while Cameron uses the one bedroom.

"Cameron can you take MiMi into your room so you guys can play?" I ask him.

"Sure Ari!" He chirped grabbing Baby Girl's arm and dragging her into the room down the hall.

"You may explain now Heffa!" She prodded me.

"Fine chick! Fine! So I met this guy Chris and we are going out tonight at six," I mutter not looking her in the eyes.

"You see, because I love you ima let the lack of details pass just this one time, but when you get back from your little date I am expecting a full report!" She tells me lightly shoving me on the shoulder.

"So anyways how are things going with Sharon and Ramon?" She asks me her eyes losing all playfulness. Eboni is the one person that I can always go to. I know that no matter what she will never judge me. She knows all of my deepest secrets and I know hers.

"Ramon is being his normal fucked up self but he stepped it up a level. He came into my room the other night touching and feeling all over me. Eboni I didn't know what to! I went off on the nigga but then he told me he was gonna do some crazy shit to Baby Girl and I don't know what I would do if something happened to her ya know?" I say trying to keep my act together because the last thing I want to do is break down into tears right now.

"Ahh shit Ari come here," she tells me opening up her arms to me and I go into them hugging her tightly.

"She's all I got Eboni."

"I know girl I know," she soothes me rubbing circles in my back. And with that a single tear falls from eye and onto her shoulder.

"I-I I just-"

My phone goes off interrupting whatever it was I was finna say.

"Hello," I croak.

"Hey are you alright?" Chris says through the phone sounding concerned.

"Yeah I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah I'm perfectly fine so what's up?" I say trying to change the subject.
