Jane's POV
After almost a year of magic as well as getting my psychokinetic and telepathic abilities up to speed, I was ready to start my first day at Hogwarts.
Over the past few months I spent here in the wizarding world I was able to experience luxury, but in a magical way of course. For example, breakfast, lunch and dinner was made by the flick of a wand or by a simple click of the fingers.
Although I was use to getting what I wanted by using my powers back in Hawkins, most of the time I had to keep it on the down low. It felt good to embrace my abilities especially here at Professor Dumbledore's manor and in the wizarding world.
We set down some ground rules of course regarding when and where I can use my powers, how to address myself towards others and so forth. Professor Dumbledore warned me that if anyone saw me using my abilities, especially without my wand that I would soon become a threat and be turned over to the dark Lord.
It's highly unusual for a young person like me to acquire the skills of "wandless" magic which can be mastered by house elf's like Dobby and advance wizard's and witches. Due to my abilities of course I was able to master wandless magic more quickly and easily compared to when I would cast spells with a wand.
"Jane are you ready?" Dobby said as he stared up at me.
We were at the train station back in England. I had a trolley packed with all my stuff and was gawking at the other students attending Hogwarts run into some brick wall and disappear into it. Only I could see Dobby as he made it so that nobody else would due to being surrounded by "muggles."
I turned and grinned widely at Dobby and said "Bitchin."
"Dobby doesn't understand." He looked confused at me.
"Yeah. I'm good and prepared for anything." I gave him a fist bump.
"I'll see you around little protector" and just like that I gave Dobby a wink, sprinted for the wall as I gave out a laugh and made it through.

I was now on the train to Hogwarts and walking down the aisle looking for a compartment. I saw other students passing by, some were staring at me while others were laughing and chatting with their friends.
I chose an empty compartment which was right at the end of the train. I sat down and pulled my legs up to rest on the edge of the seat.
As I gazed out the window I started thinking about how Mike was doing. I know we broke up on good terms, but not a day goes by that I stop thinking about him. He helped me get through life back in Hawkins and always supported me when I needed it. Ever since I moved to England sometimes I missed his presence and comfort, but I learned to adapt and live life on my own.
*****************Flashback*****************
"Mike, stop it" I giggled as I was hugging him.
"Reach the stars
Fly a fantasy
Dream a dream
And what you'll see will be" Mike continue to sing flatly."MIKE!!" I shouted and smiled up at him. "God you're crazy."
Mike stopped singing and laughed along with me as we began rolling over on my bed.
I sighed "You are the worse you know that right."
"You have to admit it, wouldn't be ridiculous to say that's how Dustin wooed her?"
"Hey! You're the one to talk." I looked at him with amusement.
