Jane's POV
I read the letter over and over again just to try and comprehend at where my life is now headed or lead me to at this point. I felt calm, collected and confused as to how this "Professor Albus Dumbledore" could come to know who I am and what I've done in the past. He was right though, I do have a lot of questions. I feel like my life has been based on finding answers and figuring out riddles, I mean that's Dustin's job. I've always been the main power source, the muscle to beating up the bad men and now I have to beat another "bad" person because he is the "darkest wizard" of their time over at this place called "Hogwarts".
Right now I'm in the kitchen, sipping on milk and eating Eggos like my life depended on it whilst contemplating about the letter in my hand and figuring out what to do. First my mind was racing at the fact that I don't even know this Professor and it got me thinking "how do I know if I can trust him?" for all I know he could be one of the "bad men" or in his case "the dark wizard". Although he did say something along the lines about my friends and I and he even mentioned "Hawkins" the last place I want to be right now, but he knows about my hometown which is like a risk if I chose to go against his offer. However, he was considerate and seem to actually care about me.
As I was pondering upon what to do, I turned over the letter, got a pen and started writing "How do I know if I can trust you?" on the back of it. As soon as I finished writing my question, I jumped up out of my chair to see that the words instantly vanished into the paper and were slowly replaced with a sentence that said "Hi Jane, this is Professor Dumbledore. That depends on you."
Reading his response, it made me think...
"Is it possible for you to show yourself to me?"
As soon as the words disappeared into the paper it began to light up and before I knew it I was pulled into the paper.

I landed safely on my feet and was checking myself for any scratches or injuries before looking up to see where I was. The place was amazing as it was filled with traditional artefacts, framed pictures, the walls looked very ancient; made of stone. It was later that I realised the portraits of people began to move and it freaked me out a bit before...
"Greetings Ms Jane Hopper, welcome to Hogwarts."
I suddenly turned around to the voice and saw an elderly look man with a very long beard that almost touched the end of his stomach, he wore what appeared to be a dress robe or gown of some sort and had eyes that twinkled with mischief, humour and brought a sense of peace. I didn't take me longer than a second to realise who he was.
"Hi... Uh Professor Dumbledore" I responded in astonishment.
He chuckled lightly "Yes, yes nice to meet you too Ms. Jane Hopper"
"Jane is all it takes Professor, thanks." I instantly responded.
"Very well, Jane again I'd like to welcome you to Hogwarts. This here..." He gestured to the room "is my office and I see you've come to notice my moving portraits, you see that almost everything here is like a "motion picture" or is alive; one of the many perks of having magic.
"I've seen crazier things" I replied almost dully.
"Indeed you have Jane which is why I've asked for your help."
"You want me to help you defeat some dark wizard in your world?"
Professor Dumbledore nodded "Yes, but you will help the boy who is destined to destroy him. His name is Harry Potter..."
