Being a single mother was very hard and tiring but not for once did you regret having your baby girl. You were only 18 when you discovered that you were pregnant and your boyfriend at the time didn't feel ready for the baby so he left you with the huge responsibility alone.
After years of studying in the morning and working at night you finally graduated and started working in a respectful company and was able to raise your daughter all alone.
But in those years you didn't let yourself fall for anyone too scared that they'll won't accept your little girl but you finally let loose a little and met your friend's friend and now you two were in a beautiful relationship.
When you told him about your daughter his reaction was anything but what you expected and he seemed already be in love with her.
So you two decided on a date so he could meet her. You told him to go to the park beside your house where you and your daughter usual spend sometime everyday as her reword for being a good girl and doing her homework.
You were sat on a bench bouncing your leg up and down nervously as you watched your daughter swing herself on the swing with a huge smile on her face.
Suddenly a hand was placed on your shoulder making you jump and look back to see Suho standing there with a cute smile on his lips and a cute teddy bear between his arms.
"Hey babe" he sat down beside you and placed a small peck on your lips making you smile lightly.
"Where's she?" He asked excitedly like a small kid on Christmas.
You pointed at the swings where your daughter was getting off and running over to you to meet the person that joined you.
"Mommy" she smiled widely as she reached you and hugged your leg looking at Suho with her big eyes.
"Honey meet Suho he's mommy's friend" you said pushing her lightly forward in Suho's direction.
"So you're my mom's boyfriend" she said looking Suho up and down as you looked wide eyed at her.
"(Y/D/N) how do you know about this?" You asked.
"I'm 5 not stupid mom" she whined before climbing up Suho's lap with his help of course.
She looked at his face with narrowed eyes before nodding in satisfaction. "He's handsome enough to be my new dad" she said making you gasp.
You were definitely not expecting this reaction from her. Her new dad? Isn't that too much? They just met for gods sake.
"I'd love to if you let me" Suho said patting her head making her giggle before her eyes saw the teddy bear making her squeal.
"It's so cute" she said pointing at the teddy bear.
"He's all yours" Suho said placing the teddy bear between her arms making her hug it tightly.
"Come on" she said and pulled him off of the bench and over to the swings where she sat and ordered him to push her on it which he gladly did.
You always knew your daughter was bossy and that annoyed you a lot but now you thought that it was the cutest thing ever.
You walked over and stood beside them and listened to their conversation.
"Do you promise to take care of me and my mommy?" Your daughter asked looking back at Suho who was smiling at her.
"I promise" those two words made your heart jump and for tears to build up in your eyes. Your fear was all gone now and you could finally relax knowing that the first steps to your and Suho's relationship went smoothly.
You spent the whole day with Suho and your daughter surprisingly only wanted Suho to tug her in which was unusual because she only lets you tug her in and won't let even your mother do it.
"Is she asleep?" You asked Suho as he walked into the living room Where you were already sitting waiting for him with popcorn and lots of blanket so you two could cuddle and watch a movie before he has to go back home.
"Yeah" he nodded and plopped down beside you and later down and pulled you closer so you were laying on his chest with the remote control turning on the movie as he played with your hair.
"I hope she didn't give you a hard time" you said looking up at him but he only smiled.
"She was an angel slept before I could even finish my lullaby" he chuckled making you giggle.
You yourself found it hard to stay awake through the whole thing because of how soft and soothing Suho's voice was and you could literally listen to his voice all your life and you wouldn't get bored.
"I love you" he kissed your forehead making you blush and smile at him.
"I love you too" you hugged him tightly feeling grateful that you were able to meet a person like him.
