Lay sighed tiredly as he finally finished his schedule for the day. He leaned back on the seat pulling his phone out of his pocket to see that you're still probably awake because of the different time zone.
It's been only one week since you left to your home country to visit your family. Lay hated the distance but completely understands you his own family living in China while he worked in Korea and America.
There's two more weeks before you comeback since you decided to stay a little longer since you missed your parents a lot after being away from them for a whole year to stay by his side as he worked for moral support.
Lay didn't feel the distance the first couple of days but now it was really hard for him to focus on somethings because of how much he missed seeing you.
He opened his contacts and called you on face time. He waited patiently while he was burning with excitement on the inside because this was the first time you guys FaceTimed all week.
He chuckled when you finally answered with messy hair and the screaming of your younger cousins in the background.
"Damn they really did miss me" you muttered making him laugh at you. You got up and walked out of the room saying a couple of words in your mother language to someone probably your sister to look after your cousins as you talked with him.
You walked into another room locking the door behind you so no one can disturb you as you talked to him.
You plumped yourself on the bed holding your phone a little away from yourself so he can see all of your face.
"I missed you" was the first thing you said after a couple of seconds of silence both of you just staring at each other drinking in each other's appearances.
"I missed you too. Home doesn't feel like home anymore since you've left" he said watching as your cheeks turned pink as you blushed.
"It won't take long before I come back honey" you muttered shyly looking down as you blushed.
"You seem to be having a lot of fun with your cousins" he teased raising his eyebrow teasingly.
You groaned lightly as you rolled over to your side. As much as you loved your cousins but they were like mini devils running around. They were much cuter when they were younger what happened?
"Yeah lots especially after a whole chunk of my hair ended up on the floor" you said sarcastically rolling your eyes.
He laughed already expecting that after all of the stories you told him about them. "You still look as beautiful as ever my little bee" he said staring affectionately at you.
