Angels, demons, werewolves, vampires and witches don't exist or at least that's what everybody thought and you were one of these people until you stumbled upon something.
You were walking down the empty street freezing almost to death trying to get home as fast as you can so you can take a long warm bath rewarding yourself for your hard week you had to endure.
You pulled your jackets closer to your body as a shiver went down your spine as a gust of wind went past you, that was when you heard it.
"Help" it was very low and barely there but you were one hundred percent that you heard it. You decided to see what it was anyways so you build up as much courage as you can master before matching into the small alley.
"Hello??" Your small voice bounced off of the walls only to be met with a loud scream causing you to flinch and take a step back as your eyes widened.
You ran further in to see what was happening to see a girl not older that 18 laying there on the floor white as a sheet, eyes widen open as her veins popped up the most as they were the only color on her pale skin being blue. It looked like the life was just sucked out of her.
You felt a presence behind you so you turned around to find no one at all so you turned back to the girl as you pulled out your phone only to find a man standing beside the girl with a menacing look on his face with a smirk painting his lips.
You squealed as your eyes met his pitch black ones trapping you in a frozen state as you started at what was supposed to be impossible. His eyes flicked to the girl causing you to do the same and that when realization set in, this was Lexi the foreigner student in your class, she was the queen b in your school and your bully.
He killed your bully but you were still terrified more than anything. What was he? Who was he? Why did he do that? You scrambled to turn on your phone to call the cops.
"Wait!" He said a little loudly as he teleported in front of you holding both of your hands gently in fact gentler than you expected.
You looked up wide eyed at him who was looking at you with panic in his eyes. "I did it for you. She was gonna kill you" he said hurriedly.
"What?" You whispered shocked eyes widened even more than they already were as you flicked your gaze to the dead girl on the ground behind the mysterious yet handsome creature.
"I heard her saying that she wanted to kill you. I couldn't have that you after all are my mission" he said lowering his voice until it was a mere whisper trying to show you that he meant no harm at all.
"What are you?" You asked looking up at him with fear filled eyes as you hands started to tremble between his.
"I'm a demon" he said trying not intimidate you but it didn't work. In seconds you pulled yourself away from him and took a couple steps back.
"You're crazy. Demons don't exist" you muttered trying to turn on your phone again only to be pushed against the wall behind you with your hands above your head and his face only inches away from yours.
"I'm not crazy" he said flashing his eyes from black to red showing his anger as he started losing his patience.
"Why didn't you let her kill me? Isn't that good for demons. More souls to torture" you asked trying to push him off but it went in vain nothing worked.
"You're my mission or for you I'm your guardian demon" he whispered leaning forward and burying his head between your neck and shoulder taking in a deep breath.
"What the hell" you tried to push him but it didn't work. It only made him tighten his hold on you hands which would probably leave a bruise soon.
"You smell heavenly" he muttered like he was under a spell yet still in his senses. Being scared is an understatement but you weren't, you were petrified. You've never felt so much fear in your life.
"I'm not gonna hurt you. You are my mate after all" he chuckles sensing your fear. After the words left his lips you froze trying to understand what he just said.
"I've been waiting for you for the past seven hundred years" he whispered lowly as his grip on your wrists weakened. His nose trailed up and down you neck causing a shiver to go down your spine.
"And now that I have found you I'm never letting you go" he said backing up a little to show his pitch black eyes and a smirk on his lips. You were trapped looking at his eyes, your brain screamed at you DANGER but you didn't listen and continued to look at him. RUN but you stayed stuck in place not being able to move like you were glued in place. HIDE but it all went in vain as you kept looking at each other like you were frozen in time.
"I searched for you all over the world yet here you were all along" he said said moving his eyes up and down your body with a small smile on his lips.
He took you hand and pulled you closer to the point that your chests were smashed against each other. He placed his forehead on yours rubbing his nose with yours. You wanted to pull away but you just couldn't it was as if your body has been possessed and didn't listen to you anymore.
Suddenly all you could see was black and red clouds causing you to cling to him for dear life only to hear him chuckle at you. When your vision cleared again you found yourself in a black and red bedroom, a very luxurious one.
"Welcome to hell baby girl" you heard the strange demons voice say before your whole world was flipped over from good to bad or maybe the opposite no one knows except you.
