It has been almost a week since my father left for Boulder Creek on business.Father was due to return very soon as he complete's the final leg of his journey home.

My father's presence has sorely been missed. With all the problem's happening here in Broad Meadow's. It came as a complete surprise that he decided to up and leave in the middle of the night, telling no one why he was going just that he had "Business to attend too".

I sighed heavily at the thought rubbing my face in frustration.

This week alone has proved to be difficult. I have had numerous sightings of rogue's on our territory. Food stock's are down and access to the village is non-existent due to the tree's on the road blown over by the recent storm.

"Christian, babe can I come in" a voice called out softly through the thick pine door.

Jacinta.

I was using my father's office and I had successfully turned it into one big massive pile of paper's and rubbish. I had at least a few hour's to turn it back to it's original condition.

"Honey not at the moment I'm really busy, I've got shit loads of stuff I need to get through"

"Well I will leave your lunch outside your door, I wish I could help you hun. I hate seeing you work so hard" Jacinta call's out and I hear a kiss sound being made through the door.

I smile. Jacinta my fiance. Sweet, drop dead gorgeous and funny. She had the body of a goddess and her blonde hair cascaded the length of her back. Her amber coloured eye's reminded me of Autumn and her funny down to earth nature alway's kept me in check.

"I love you too, babe" I shoot back as I quickly arrange files and paper's into tidy looking pile's.

With a click of her heel she saunters away from my father's office and down the corridor. I wait till I can hear her no more and get back to what I was doing.

There was one more problem.

One very big problem.

No one could know about it.

Not even my father.

I stared long and hard at my reflection in the mirror attached to the back of my father's office door. A big red raw "X" was in the spot where my mark used to be.

Seven day's ago I had begun to feel the stirrings of my mate being awoken. I had long given up on finding my chosen mate. Six years have pased since I turned 17. It just couldn't be helped. I have as felt drawn to Jacinta like no other. But still my wolf wouldn't give up. Pestering the fuck out of me all week.

My wolf was non-stop all up in my mother fucking grill about it. With non stop howling, growling and whining. He demanded that I get up and find her. I refused. There was no way in hell that I was going to leave Jacinta, to find some girl out there that I didn't even know.
