Dean strolled down the long hallway next to the swirly staircase to the study. A tick carpet ran along it and Dean's shoes quickly dried from the friction. He entered the study and saw his brother sitting at the monogamy desk looking intensely at a Law Book.

"Working hard or hardly working?" Dean cracked a smile and leant against the wide door frame.

Sam kept skimming his pages, "Even though I'm not in university I still must be learning. I do not want to fall behind just because of family matters."

Dean grunted, "Oh I see it now. Because dad is dying you think it is good now to come and see him. But if he wasn't you wouldn't join our company, hmm? It's all about your studies am I not correct?"

Sam now did look up harshly, "Coming from you, army boy."

Dean was about to growl a nasty comment at his younger brother but just then the cook came through the servant's hidden hallway into the study. It was hidden by a velvet tapestry and hardly no one even used the study so no one ever used it unless needed.

Missouri smiled brilliantly, "My Boys!" Setting down the silver tray of coffee she pulled Dean into a hug and then waddled over to hug Sam. "It's so good to see the both of you! Been ages, it has been. Lord, y'all both getting so big." She smiled proudly at both. "What? Got snakes in your boots or somethin'?" Missouri was a psychic and said she could read thoughts and feelings.

"Ah just a bucket with my dearest brother," Sam smiled sarcastically. Dean shot him a glare.

"Just like it was when you two were just boys. Keep up the bickerin', it keeps ya' smart and busy. Keeps ya on guard." She paused and picked the tray up again to set it on the desk. "What have you been fighting about? University? Army? Your father?"

"See, Missouri you can already read minds. You don't need us to say anything, you already know." Dean spoke smoothly, aiming his glare at Sam who sassily returned it in same. They would play this game until one would break and end the fight. They did this every time they ever were together. Sometimes silent treatments were set and months apart boundaries were made. But in the end they only had each other.

"True, I do know. You two better make things right before your daddy knows your home. You knew he hates it when y'all fight." Missouri looked up to the both of them with pleading looks. They smiled and nodded.

"Of course, Missy. We can do that." Sam nods.

"Good, now we can catch up from the time that's passed." Missouri smirks and fills three cups with coffee, not two. She gives her and Sam plenty of cream and sugar but leaves Dean's black just how he likes it. "I'm glad I could bring in the coffee for y'all and not the footman."

"Footman?" Dean takes his cup from Missouri's hands.

She nods and twirls a spoon in her coffee and sits down on the couch. "He's the nephew of Zachariah. Cassiel or somethin', I dunno." She waves her hand and shakes her head. "He's about your age, Dean and pretty cute. He'll be dressing you while you stay here."

"What about me?" Sam asks from his seat in the chair. Dean sits on the desk top and sips his coffee.

"Sam, you're a big boy now. You can dress yourself." The cook smiles warmly and teases Sam who scowls to hide his smile.

Dean stays silent and puts on a frown. A footman to dress him, clean his clothes, shine his shoes? He'd never had a footman before. He never needed one. And if the footman was cute like Missouri said then Dean was screwed. Dean had given up on the whole sexuality thing a year ago and had not told his father. Dean started to fee more attracted to the male body. It scares him. His father made it very clear that homosexuality was against God's wishes. Dean didn't know if he was a homosexual. He knew women were beautiful, but he couldn't get a hard on lately. Instead his flesh crawled when he entered a bathroom and saw young men like him lined up to relieve themselves.

Dean shook himself and sipped his drink nervously. His face flushed and cursed himself silently.

Missouri and Sam keep up small talk. About school, Sam's soon to be fiancé, the normal things.

"Well, it was great to catch up with you Missy. But I want to go freshen up and change before I see father. Thank you for the coffee," Dean set down his cup and kissed Missouri's cheeks.

She smiled brightly up at him, "You stay good, Dean."

Dean smiled warmly and made his way to the door but was only to be called back by Missouri.

"Wait Dean!" Missouri called after the young man.

He turned around and looked at her expectantly, " Yeah?"

"You're footman, ya know Zachariah's nephew, his name is Castiel."

Dean nodded and repeated, "Castiel."
