Annabeth let out a small breath of air before entering the school.

She was caught between excited and bored, with her schedule in hand as she headed off to her locker.

As she walked, she caught loads of people staring, which she didn't really feel that comfortable by, but also not too bothered by it. It just felt... Weird... To say the least. And dare she admit, awkward.

But she wasn't planning on acknowledging it- but with all their eyes on her, she felt like the center of attention.

'Jeez... Doesn't anyone have anything better to do than stare? Do they stare at the freshmen when they enter too? Freaking creepy...' She thought to herself.

Upon reaching her locker, a guy in a leather jacket and ripped jeans stood in front of it. Oh ouch, why would anyone wear such uncomfortable clothes just after summer. It's hot out- how even?

She rolled her eyes before walking over, the man was blond, his hair similar to her own and he smirked at her- frankly, the gesture only made her want to groan and just avoid him, but she needed to get her books so she'd endure it just this once.

"Well hello there babe." The guy said.

She raised a brow. "If you're talking to me, I'd prefer if you don't call me that." She sighed. "And will you please stand aside. You're standing in front of my locker."

"Oh, begging already huh? How I'd love to see you get on your knees and beg for me-" The guy said, sounding suggestive.

"That hardly seems appropriate, especially in schoolgrounds and on the hallway. And I would never. I'd much rather keep my chastity til I'm at least 23." She stated. "Now move."

"Oh, fiesty now are we?" He asked, wiggling his brown.

"Feist- ugh!" She groaned before pushing him to the side before opening her locker, grabbing her books and then shutting it. "Look sir. I think it would be best if you kept your distance. It's the first day of school, and I don't have time to deal with men's bull. And I would rather not have to report a student on the first day for sexual harrassment, so if you could leave me be for the rest of the time being, that would be lovely."

And with that she left, heading to her homeroom- not noticing the boy, the school bad boy, Luke, was staring after her with that smirk and those wanting eyes that flashed a red before returning back to their normal blue.

Looks like someone hadn't bothered listening.

The first two subjects went by before her next encounter with another blonde- During History class.

A tall blonde man with striking blue eyes, a tight gray shirt and a pair of jeans had walked in the classroom, Annabeth glanced over, catching his eyes as he stared at her.

Their eyes connected before Annabeth let out an enternal groan, looking away to glance out the window instead.

The teen took the opportunity to sit beside her with a charming white smile, Annabeth, on the otherhand, was rather impressed by those white teeth-

Because how the fuck-?!

"Uhm, may I help you?" Annabeth asked him with a raised brow.

"Yes, I'd like to know your name, beautiful." He winked at her. "I'm Jason Grace."

'Dammit, please don't be another one...'

"Yeah, uh... Annabeth..." She mumbled, confused.

"Oh, what a beautiful name, suits the owner." He said, in a flirty tone.

"Uh... O- kay..." She mumbled. It was weird. This makes for a second guy flirting with her that day. Not to mention all the stares she kept getting from people all around.

It was very weird to her, and she couldn't help but feel like there was a reason. I mean, it wasn't like she was the only new student in school. She was sure there were plenty.

Just as Jason seemed to be wanting to talk again, the teacher, bless said teacher's soul, walked in.

She then began talking as Annabeth paid attention, and not long later, Annabeth was asked to introduce herself to the class.

"Hi, uhm... I'm Annabeth Chase, I'm currently 16 years old, and I came here from the state of California." She hummed, shrugging before sitting down.

That was really all they needed to know far as she was concerned, so why was every staring at her more, as if waiting for her to say more.

"Anything else? Likes? Hobbies? Interests?" The teacher, Mrs. Johnson, asked.

Annabeth shrugged. "I like to read and chill I guess, also music is pretty calming. But it's not like I'm the only one around here like that." She hummed as an array of whispers began flooding the room.

The teacher nodded, not paying much mind to the sudden activity in class before she began checking attendance.
