CHAPTER 3- Oh Fuck No

During lunch the cafeteria was still buzzing about the drama between me and Julio so I and Sky decided to stay outside.

Finally school was over. I will finally be able to get away from everyone's stares. Like really what happened between me and Julio was not that big of a deal.

I sat on a boulder outside school with Sky waiting for Jade and Jace. I saw Julio and his best friend Ethan.

Ethan unlike Julio was more easy going. He was naturally happy while Julio was more of a closed off asshole. He had sandy brown hair while Julio had jet black hair. Ethan had radiant blue eyes while Julio had dull grey eyes. Julio was slightly taller than Ethan now and he had a more mature look. Ethan was handsome in a carefree way while Julio was well handsome in a more mature foreign way.

It was no secret that Julio was Italian. When he first arrived at Trinstar, everyone wanted to know him because he just showed up out of nowhere looking rich and expensive.

Pfft...... What a showoff!

Sometimes the words he said had an accent to them and some of his features gave it off.

An expensive looking car stopped in front of them then they got in and it sped off.

I saw Jade and Jade approaching so I stood up from the boulder. Jade had some project to work on with some kid so she was going to stay at her house for a while while Jace was off to swimming practice.

I was slightly relieved to hear that so I could work a double shift. We agreed to all be home before 7 30 pm. I can't allow Jade and Jace to be home alone because I'm afraid my dad may get to them or even worse...... him.

I shudder at that thought.

Skylar agrees to walk me to the library because it's not far away from her home. I love Skylar so much. She's the only one I trust with my life. She knows almost everything about me.... almost.

"Ryn are u ok?" Skylar breaks my train of thought.

"Yeah I'm fyn" I reply with a smile.

They're very few people who care about me and I'm glad Skylar is one of them. We talk about various things ranging from series to books and just random stuff.

We finally arrive at the library. We say our goodbyes and agree to catchup tomorrow. When I enter the library I see Mrs Crumps buried in some book she's reading. She's a middle-aged woman who's slightly taller than me. She's super nice and very friendly.

"Hey Mrs Crumps"

"Hi Karyn" she looks up from her book with a smile.

"I'll be working a double shift today" I say with a grin.

"Oh that's very good. You can leave at 7:15 since you're working double shifts" She says with a small smile.

I smile to myself and start organising the books in try shelves. I clean some shelves and put the new books on display. I assist some kids who are trying to use the computers to get homework done.

After that I check the time to see that it is almost 6 30pm. There's really nothing much to do so I take permission from Mrs Crump to read a book at the back.

"Karyn you can go now. Your shift is almost over. You can leave now."She says with a smile.

I stand up from my comfortable spot on the floor and dust myself off. I grab my bag and move to the front desk to say my goodbye to Mrs Crumps. She smiles at me and gives me a couple of dollars.

"Use this to get a ride home. Don't want you walking alone" She shrugs.

"Really 150 dollars just for a cab. This is actually too much" I arch my eyebrow in confusion.

"Oh you can keep the change" She says with a wink.

I smile at her, give her a kiss on the cheek and walk out of the library in a better mood than this morning.

I decide to keep the money for a better use and I start walking home. I jog a little when I round my street. I arrive home at about 7:23pm. I start making some pasta when Jace and Jade arrive. We all decide to cook it together.

After eating, Jade washes the dishes while Jace drys them and I clean the kitchen. We decide to go to bed early because we really don't have anything to do.

I go to my room feeling really exhsusted. I hear some sounds in my room and a lump forms in my throat.

No no not today.

I open the door gently and I see him sitting on my bed impatiently tapping his feet against the floor of my room.

He immediately raises his brown eyes to meet mine. He looks at me with a lopsided grin.

"Hey babe, you know it isn't right to keep your guests waiting" He says with him voice laced with sarcasm.

My suspicions were confirmed.

Oh fuck no

He's here

Waiting

On my bed

With a malicious grin
