(Authors note: just a heads up Blastberry vine, imp pear and pokra where added to PvZ 2 I'm going to add them as I progress though the story so yeah there like plants that you unlock as you progress and I'm familiar with battle for Neighborville I plan to hopefully get it this week, also may those who died in the 9/11 attacks Rest In Peace.)
Location third person the house: after the battle was over the new pumpkin-pults where getting watered in zen garden that was repaired slightly as the phonograph now was in working order again and most of the pots got repaired and the aquarium was currently getting fixed when a snow pea hopped in and motioned to the outside as the owner looked and saw more pony's approaching his house but saw a odd looking unicorn and then the unicorn stopped while his comrades moved on.
Battle begin!: The owner gathered his plants and the now repaired lawnmowers and started to set up his defenses which followed by a column of sunflowers and kernel-pults and snow peas for maximum stalling with bonk Choy behind some wall-nuts and finally pumpkin-pults where in front of the kernel-pults and the snow peas in front of them followed by the bonk choys and wall-nuts, when what looked like a portal appeared and a pony stepped out of it as pony's entered the lawn the plants fired and punched the pony's approaching as these portals appeared to be very problematic even appearing right in front of the wall-nuts at times, as the pony's approaching where glad to see the portals where causing trouble for those plants but they where still taking losses when one of those cherry's mentioned in the report was thrown out a window blowing up an entire group of pony's, meanwhile back inside the owner watched these pony's approach by both at the beginning of the lawn and though these portals but the plants where managing quite well but more of those where likely to come in the future so he sent down to crazy Dave who was watching the battle as he turned around and said "me too I thinking of a plant actually to stop those portals from appearing or well staying there" he says as he then goes down to the basement to work on the new plant as the owner looks back out the window and saw more pony's approaching at a fast pace as the first portal stopped functioning as a few more portals appeared he looked at his power Lily's and got some plant food and then went outside and then tapped on the closest kernel-pult as it turned around and saw the plant food in the owners hand as it then ate it eagerly before looking like small mortar and fired a bunch of butter at the pony's stopping all of them in there tracks reliving the wall-nuts as some where showing cracks as the ladder pony's weren't have a lot of success with getting to the wall-nuts as snow peas took out the incoming ladder pony's while there allies where stalled by butter and when they where able to move again they saw they had taken a number of casualties while they where stunned as pony's emerging from the portals went down without much effort, the pony's eventually after they started smelling like pumpkin pie with a side of peas and got bruised like a tomato that's been thrown down a flight of stairs ran away to regroup as the plants celebrated once again. Battle end!
Back down in the owners basement: crazy Dave as he said was working on a new plant to stop those portals and crazy Dave believes he getting close as grey Knight mushrooms seem to be reacting the best and as crazy Dave predicted the mushrooms started twitching as a sensei like mustache sprouted out a the cap became bigger and eyes grew on the mushroom and eventually a yawn emerged as the eyes blinked before the mushroom cap then stretched over the fungus which prompted Dave to knock as the mushroom revealed it self again looking the same as before as crazy Dave introduced himself "hello magi-shroom welcome to the world little guy" he says as the other magi-shroom also started to grow albeit slowly as the magi-shroom looked at Dave with an old man like expression as the shroom was then picked up to be introduced to the other plants as crazy Dave showed the owner the almanac entry (the one from the last chapter) as the Gardner nodded and got the other magical plants and funguses to introduce them to magi-shroom as the owner then asked "from what you read to me they can enter a defensive mode when there not removing portals right?" He says as Dave nods before going back down stairs to get the rest of them who where down growing when the owner looked out his window to see the pony's once again charging towards his lawn as the portal unicorn appeared again to assist the pony's already coming.
Battle begin!: the owner prepared his defense as potato mines took out early pony's that just charged onto the lawn while the owner thought of his strategy, he planted his sunflowers again as they started to make sun while the owner brought his peashooters out as they quickly shot at the advancing pony's but when the first portal appeared the owner gave the new plant a test run and just like crazy Dave said the fungus dispelled the portal before anything came out, the magi-shroom seeing the pony's approaching after removing the portal quickly went into its defensive form to protect itself and to wait for more portals as a pony guard started to attack it and while it ain't the toughest defensive plant it can a take punch as peas shot the offending pony till the pony was defeated, the owner brought out some squash's as they pounded any pony that came to close into the dirt before they buried themselves to recover there strength till there ready to squash more invaders into the ground, on the pony's side of things the portals that proved to be a nuisance to the plants but they where being dispelled with the new plant...well mushroom to be technical, the mushroom worked hard as it dispelled the portals before any pony's could emerge and the peas and squash's made difficult for them to advance but they kept on coming as they rushed the lawn in the numbers, the owner seeing this brought some A.K.E.Es as they shot out there giant seeds that bounced from pony to pony giving them major headaches and making them see stars, after a while the pony's once again ran away as the dead ones (the ones who where smashed or blown up by potato mines) had to be left behind which caused the owner to sigh as he grabbed his shovel and prepped a new trash can as the last one was completely lost in the tornado which was filled to the brim of zombies which reached to space where he ended up playing a fun game with some floating space gems that bursted into colorful dust when matched together.
Meanwhile inside the zen garden: the plants where inside eating fertilizer which was meant for certain plants but crazy Dave accidentally mixed up the shamrocks normal fertilizer with defensive fertilizer which was meant for the pumpkins and wall-nuts (not the pumpkin-pults) and when they did all them felt a new energy flow though them but shrugged it off unaware that there new power would help in the next battle.

Almanac entry: name: shamrock, sun cost: 125, growth time: fast, toughness (rainbow shield)high, toughness (shamrock): typical, damage: normal (light when shield is destroyed)special: creates a rainbow shield when flying enemy's are near.
Family: reinforce-mint
What it does: shamrock shoots at attackers from a distance and close up but becomes a rock that creates a rainbow shield that blocks high flying enemy's are trying to fly over it.
Weakness: when shield is destroyed attack power is reduced (takes 10 seconds to recharge shield)
Bio: shamrocks are odd plants that are often sour, bitter and happy on rare occasions but this is largely because many plants believe they hide a pot of gold on top there rainbow shields.
New enemy Pegasus (high flying version): these Pegasus fly so high only a few plants can hit them and fewer can block them, toughness:average, speed: average.
Weakness: shamrock creates a shield that stalls them, cactuses can stretch up to shoot them down, homing thistles and cattails can hit them, more plants I have planned for future fanfics after this one.
Officer Pegasus: same as regular officers but flys higher, toughness: protected, speed: average.
Weakness: same as before.
Wonder bolt Pegasus: a far faster version Pegasus, speed: speedy toughness : normal.
Weakness: same as before.
(Authors note: a new threat type appears, high flyers! these enemy's fly over most defenses but can be hit and stalled a few plants and they'll try to enter via the chimney but won't appear on the roof but will appear every where else)
