(Authors note: here's another chapter and regained some of my vigor time to keep writing and I have a new story coming soon)
Location: house, third person pov: crazy Dave was inside of the kitchen making some coffee as the owner prepared the mushrooms for the night shift (puff-shrooms, sun-shrooms, fume-shrooms, scaredy-shrooms, Hypno-shrooms, ice-shroom and doom-shroom and couple others) the owner was setting up his mushrooms as puff-shrooms stood as the frontline with fume-shrooms behind them and scaredy-shrooms near the back with the sun-shrooms with a few potato mines set ahead of the puff-shrooms.
Inside the house with crazy dave third person pov: crazy Dave was currently inside the house adjusting his pot that has a night cap on top of it (one of those sleeping hats that Kirby wears) and was for some reason rummaging in his beard and pulled out a puff-shroom making him wondering how that got there before sitting down the fungus, before looking at the night sky then back down the shamrocks and cactus need a lot of energy that's why mushrooms where the primary night time defenders and began scratching his beard and head before going to the basement to make a new plant that can defend the sky.
(The ponies are coming) battle begin!: the pony's where attacking once again consisting mostly of the basic pony's and there tougher counterparts with a couple shields here and there and a few flying pony's, the mushrooms where handling themselves easily as the pony's where easily cut down by expert shots from the scaredy-shrooms while the cacti stretched up and shot down the Pegasus as shamrocks created there rainbow shields till turning back once the Pegasus that they were blocking were shot down, back on the ground fume-shrooms and puff-shrooms stopped the pony's in there tracks as fume-shrooms cut them down in there constant sprays of spores making there shields useless as there smaller cousin took out stragglers and supported them, the pony's were caught off guard by the fungus army as they didn't think there would be defenses in the dark of night, in the back Luna was watching the ponies she sent were mere probes to test the defenses and she saw other plants but the creature hasn't used them yet, she grumbled but went to retrieve a better attack force. Battle end
Third person pov basement: in the basement crazy Dave was working on a garlic that started to sprout un like the garlics already there the plan was to make one that could serve as as a flying puff-shroom that didn't sun but could do a few more things, eventually the first flying plant they were like puff-shrooms and sea-shrooms in a lot of ways, needing no sun having a short ranged attack and lasting for a limited before going invisible or the garlic drones case popping and then like explosive plants and ghost peppers will regrow in pots or the ground.
Almanac entry:
Name: garlic drone
Special: flys, last for a limited time, if there are no air threats in there lane they will fire in front them hitting foes randomly on the ground till a new air enemy appears, pops balloons.
Sun cost: 0
Durability: fragile
Plant food: the one given plant food will shoot two corn cobs doing splash damage (same as coconut cannon) other garlic drones are also boosted but fire a bunch of needles (some will go off the lawn, hit airborne threats or hit random threats on the ground the lead garlic drone will then explodes after both corn shots are launched.
Family: mixture of bombard-mint and spear-mint
Effects: when under bombardment when garlic drones explode they deal a small amount of damege, when under effects of spear-mint there shots can pierce two enemy's at a time and randomly fired spikes will deal a bit more of damage.
Almanac description: garlic drone is a humble plant and quiet plant and dispute being involved with explosives they just wanna fly and assist there fellow plants unaware that they spook there fellow plants by unintentionally starring for long periods of time.
Third person pov with crazy Dave: Dave finished the almanac description before looking up and seeing the garlic drones starring at him before he shrugged and lead them upstairs and gave the almanac to the owner who read it before looking to the garlic drones that are just starring at there fellow plants and what looked like an intense starring contest between one of the garlic drones and a laser bean, the owner just did a chuckle before going outside to organize his defenses against the pony's who come back again for round 2 (night).
(The ponies are coming) battle begin: the garlic drones where sent to the sky as the fungus on the ground fired at the pony's who came close enough or in the scaredy-shrooms case shooting them at a nice safe distance the battle was going well till airborne threats arrived but the garlic drones where ready they shot at the flying ponies and while there short ranged there needles hurt the ponies like hell as they fell out of the sky, the owner seeing some of the drones were about to pop so taking a slingshot he put some plant food in it before flinging it upwards, a garlic drone sees this and eats it, causing it to shoot corn at the ground playing up some ponies while the remaining garlics shoot a furry of needles hitting something or nothing at all taking down scores of flying pony's and injuring multiple ground ponies, yet they still kept coming deciding to finish this quickly the owner grabbed a doom-shroom before throwing as he ran back inside and grabbed something along side crazy Dave, outside the doom-shroom landed but didn't explode yet the pony's now know how destructive the mushroom is before the fungus said one thing "doom" before it rumbled and massive explosion happened wiping the lawn and sky clear as bits of ponies and ash's were scattered all over the place leaving few surviving scared for life before running away in shear terror as a crater was left in the doom-shrooms place. Battle end!
Third person pov Luna: Luna look in sheer anger and shock the creature just threw a pure black mushroom, ran inside and then the mushroom exploded leaving a crater and the rest of the mushrooms and flying garlic were unscathed before flying back to chaterlot to relay the news to her sister.
Third person pov the lawn: the mushrooms and garlic cheered as a black cap began to grow in the ground with small red eyes, the owner came back with both a pot and shovel for 3 things, a pot for the doom-shroom, a shovel to place doom-shroom in pot and shovel for removing ponie remains, crazy Dave walked outside before calling down the garlic drones, as Dave leads to them to the zen garden.
(Authors note: gotcha I bet you surprised by about her chapter already and no the ponies will not stop coming they just got scared by the battle but they won't give up yet.
