(Authors note: Time for something a little different that veterans of the original PvZ might recognize.
Third person pov: location: chanterlot training grounds: in chanterlot a training regime was going on in order to prep guards against the plants, using magically powered cardboard cutouts, the guards were training in order to prepare them, minus the death part of course.
I pony battle 1: the first battle had sunflowers placed a bit randomly, with a couple squash's, snow peas and peashooters here and there, the first elite went first taking out one of the cardboard sunflowers till a cardboard squash crushed him, a shield pony went next defecting the peashooting plants before defeating the cardboard cutouts, the next lane a guardman went first only to be pulverized, followed by an elite pony who could endure the slowing shots before defeating the rest of the cardboard cutouts, a pattern followed were a basic guard will take the squash before an elite guard or shield guard would defeat the rest after the squash's were gone.
I pony battle 2: the second training course had pumpkin-pults in the back, with wall-nuts defending them and peashooters as support, first an elite guard was deployed to observe most first shots then some ladder pony's were deployed and successfully deployed there ladders on the wall-nuts but the cardboard peashooters defeated the ladder ponies though as there not the toughest pony to exist, basic guards were sent next and while many were defeated the managed to overwhelm the peas before getting the pumpkin-pults, sunflowers were scattered all over.
I pony battle 3: the final one had puff-shrooms in the front with fume-shrooms scattered in the back with cabbage-pults behind them, the shield pony's were rapidly defeated by the cabbages and sunflowers scattered all over were defeated when elite guards could get close enough and took out a couple puff-shrooms and fume-shrooms and eventually the cardboard plants were defeated.
Third person pov: location: house: the owner sighed as drank some coffee seeing this will be a long night as his day time plants rested up, while the mushrooms were alert for another attack, he saw crazy Dave in the kitchen making tacos, tacos are nice and want to get one.
