Ariana's P.O.V

I took a shower and let my hair down, drying, and curling the ends. I started to do a little make up and got dressed.

I took one final look in the mirror and headed downstairs.

"Ohh Ari you look so beautiful!" my mother squealed.

"Thank you mum" I said.

"So this Luke fellow, can I meet him before you leave"

"Ugh fine just don't be embarrassing" I groaned.

I listened to music until I heard a knock at the door. I got up and answered it before my mum could.

"Hi Luke" I smiled at him.

"h-hey Ari, you look...beautiful" aw he is cute when he stutters.

"Thank you" I felt my cheeks heat up.

"OHH so this is Luke!" My mum squealed.

I groaned.

"Hi im Ari's mom, but you could call me Joan"

"Well we better get going, Bye mum!" and I pushed him out the door before my mum could say anything.

"So where are we going?" I asked when we got in the car.

"its a surprise" he said.

"yay I love surprises!" I squealed like a little kid.

He took me to this really fancy restaurant. We walked in and a boy around our age sat us at our table.

"What could I get you two to drink" he kept looking at me with lust in his eyes.

"Um I would like a lemonade and for you to stop staring at me, thank you"

"And I will have a coke and also would like for you to stop staring at my date" Luke sternly said getting a little jealous.

After we ate I tried to pay, but Luke wouldn't let me so I had no choice. We walked around after that. Something caught my eye, it was a carnival! I love carnivals they are so fun!

"Lukeeee! There is a carnival!" I said jumping up in down like a child.

"Do you want to go?" He asked me, and my faced dropped into a serious one.

"No Luke I'm just so happy to see a carnival, but no I don't want to go" I replied

"I'm kidding Ari, come on lets go" He said leading the way.

We went and played games first. Luke won me a giant pink bear! We stopped when we saw they had karaoke. They had a prize of $500.

"Ari you should sing, you could win" Luke said.

"I don't know Luke, I'm not that good" I mumbled.

"Ari you are one of the best singers I've ever heard, you can do this"

"Um ok I guess I can try" I said with a small smile.

I wrote my name down and waited for my turn. Luke and I waited, but then we heard that annoying voice again. Ashley was on stage singing, it's like she is everywhere we go! Everyone barley clapped, but she still smirked, like she knew she was going to win.

"Ok, that was good" The announcer said unsure.

I quietly laughed.

"Next we have Ariana Grande singing a song she wrote called "Boyfriend Material" With that I went up to the stage.
