Ume pulled out her hoodie and trenchcoat and brought her gun along with her. Rena looked at her and smirked, "I never thought you'd be the type to own a gun." Ume said it was for self-defense, one time she had a run-in with rapists in her past, though she never used the gun on them, someone came to her rescue. Rena shows Ume her gun as well hidden in her jacket, and unlike Ume's, Rena's was loaded. This made Ume feel safe but was a bit uneasy of what Rena meant by fun.

While walking down the hallway of Z, Ume stayed close to Rena, her anxiety skyrocketed, fearing Adonis could pop out of nowhere, as well as the rest of her classmates. Rena held her arm out to Ume, and she hugged her arm to feel safer and ease her anxiety. Every step they took, Ume decided to clear her mind and not think, until they would come up to a corner or open a door, the fear of not being able to see into the unknown was still burning inside her, fearing that somebody, anybody could be there waiting. Ume wanted to run back to her room, but instead, she closed her eyes and entrusted her walking to Rena. Rena offered a piggyback ride but Ume, whisperingly, said it'd have more people eyeballing them, and that was the last thing she wanted, and so they continue to walk until they got outside the dorm building.

They walked out of the dorm building, the sky was very cloudy, a storm had just ended, so barely anyone would be outside. They left the grounds of Kobayashi academy and left into the city of Tsukishima. Rena states that they wouldn't need to have been doing a lot of walking if only she were to finish her portable teleportation device, but even then, it wouldn't work in bad weather, it kinda works like WiFi. Ume remained quiet as she apathetically clung onto Rena's arm. They got to Starfux 64. Rena then had a random thought that had been in her head for awhile ever since she saw Ume with a gun and wearing a trenchcoat and a hood "THAT'S who you remind me of! You in that get-up, you remind me of Kasamatsu. It was on the slip of my tongue but I couldn't put my finger on it." Ume shied away from that comment "Yeah...".
They go inside of Starfux 64 and they picked an empty seat that was a blind spot from the windows. Due to heavy weather, the business had been slow, barely anyone came in during the afternoon anyway. It was just Rena, Ume, and some random citizen guy. Ume slowly removed her hood since she felt safe and secure. Rena asked Ume what flavor she wanted and gave her a list of flavors. Ume went with vanilla, so Rena got up and ordered. Ume sat there waiting for Rena's return while burying her face in her arms on the table.
