Shoji Harima walked by Starfux 64, looked through the window for Rena but he didn't see her anywhere. Sora Morioka was with him. They decided to walk in to look for Rena, they saw them over in the corner, Rena waved. Shoji and Sora walked over to her with Ume. Rena asked Sora what he thought about Ume, he asked why did it matter, she shouted at him to answer and Sora rejected the idea just to be a dick to Rena. She asked Shoji what did he think of Ume, Shoji honestly had no opinion on her. Sora asks "Is that really what you called us here for? Come on Sho-bro, let's go." and as they began to leave, Rena asked Shoji to stay, and Sora intervened by saying Shoji can stay if she bought dessert for both of them. Rena reluctantly accepted it. She bought the pizza special for Shoji and the coffee for Sora, he states that he'll be back for Shoji in 5 minutes and left the restaurant. Rena went after Sora to keep him occupied for awhile as she tells Shoji to keep Ume company. Shoji, having no idea what was going on, sat in front of Ume because the pizza special was placed on their table.

The atmosphere was awkward. Shoji saw Ume shying away, avoiding eye contact. He says "Ah I see, you're avoiding eye contact because you feel its wrong to be at a table with another boy. Am I right? Say isn't that Adonis guy gonna grow suspicious if he sees us like this? Let alone back here. No offense but that guy's kind of a jerk, I beat him up one time because we got into a fight over black roses in the store last Valentine. I said 'ehh fuck it' and let him have them." Shoji's nonstop talking ended up making things worse. Ume's thoughts to herself were "I was never given black roses on Valentines... but... those black roses that Michi was showing off... It means... he was cheating on me for awhile now... Its the middle of Casinpril..." Shoji asked what was wrong, he also asked why did she storm out of the class, also saying how worried everyone was, including the sensei, even Fuku and Kuro. Everyone had been blowing up her text messages but never got a reply back.
(Casinpril is this universe's equivalent to the month April.)
